CONGRATULATIONS

Thank you for your application to study at the University of Liverpool. After careful
consideration we are delighted to make you a conditional offer.

Your full-time programme starts on 28/09/2015 and ends on 30/09/2016. In order to


attend the University’s introductory events for new students we advise you to plan to
arrive in Liverpool at least one week before the start of your programme. Graduation
ceremony dates have not yet been finalised, but are usually in the December or January
following completion of your programme.

ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS

The University requires all International applicants to provide original academic


documents (academic transcript and degree certificate) which verify their successfully
completed qualifications. We are directed by the UK Visas and Immigration to request
this evidence. You can send these documents to the postal address at the top of this
email or they can be presented when you register at the University. On receiving any
original documents we will check these and return them to you promptly via a recorded
postal service to the address we hold for you on record.

If you have applied to us using one of our recognised international representatives


(agents) it is not necessary for you to send these to us during the application stage,
however you must show your international representative these documents for
verification and present them during registration.

Applicants who do not provide the original documents during the application
process must provide these during registration.

FEES AND LIVING COSTS

The fees for this programme are currently set at £16300 for the Academic year 2015-16. A
full list of up-to-date fees can be found here.
This offer is made on the understanding that you qualify as an international (non-EU)
student for fees purposes. If you have any questions about your eligibility to pay
international fees please contact our Fees Assessment Officers.
We estimate that a single person will need a minimum of £7,380 to cover the cost of
living on an annual basis. If you are planning to bring your family with you then your
living costs will increase, you can find out more on our website.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Liverpool is keen to attract the brightest Postgraduate students from
around the world, regardless of their financial background, and for this reason we offer a
number of generous scholarships to reward academic excellence. The amount awarded via
each scholarship can vary, however it would usually cover part of your tuition fee.

particular note is our new Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship:
PGT. This scholarship, which provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees, rewards high-
achieving, self-financing new entrants enrolling on one year Postgraduate Taught Masters
programmes at the University of Liverpool. Please consult the funding tool for details of the
eligibility criteria for this award and our other scholarships.

ACCEPTING YOUR OFFER

Once you have the met the conditions of your offer, as outlined in the table above, you
should forward appropriate evidence and confirm or decline your offer to your Admissions
Officer either by email or post. You can find your Admissions Officer’s contact details at the
top of this letter.

VISAS

Please note that you will need to meet the requirements set by the UK authorities in
connection with obtaining a visa for studying in the UK. You can consult with the UK
Visas and Immigration directly at https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa.

Further pre-arrival advice, including details of your Confirmation of Acceptance of


Studies (CAS) number, will be sent to you before you commence your studies.
We will usually communicate with you via email, so it is very important that you advise us of any
changes to your email address.
