    The speaking test consists of 8 different tasks that assess a test taker's ability to speak English through describing pictures, giving advice, sharing opinions and experiences. It tests listening comprehension as well as speaking skills.

    The different speaking tasks include: giving advice, talking about a personal experience, describing a scene, making predictions, comparing options and persuading, dealing with a difficult situation, expressing opinions, and describing an unusual situation.

    I would advise practicing each of the different task types in advance. It's also important to speak clearly and at a natural pace while using a varied vocabulary. One should listen carefully to the instructions and time limits for each question.

    A close cousin who lives in another country is coming to visit for a year. She tells you that
    she would like to stay at your place to explore your country’s culture and to spend some time
    with you. Your roommate does not agree and says you will have to move out if she comes.

    won’t let you take a photo. Phone a member of your family. Provide a full and clear
    description of the table and ask if you can buy the table.
