Thinner
Water
Dilution
The paint is ready to use after proper stirring. If thinning is required, water may be added up to a maximum of
5%.
Drying times
Drying times are generally related to air circulation, temperature, film thickness and number of coats, and will
be affected correspondingly. The figures given in the table are typical with:
Good ventilation (Outdoor exposure or free circulation of air)
Typical film thickness
One coat on top of inert substrate
The given data must be considered as guidelines only. The actual drying time and time before recoating may be
shorter or longer, depending on the ambient temperature, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, underlying paint
system, requirement for early handling and mechanical strength etc.
1. Recommended data given is, for recoating with the same generic type of paint.
2. In case of multi-coat application, drying times will be influenced by the number and sequence and by the
total thickness of previous coats applied.
3. The surface should be dry and free from any contamination prior to application of the subsequent coat.
Primer
Cito Primer 09 or Jotun Ultra Primer or Jotashield Primer : 1 coat
Topcoat
Jotashield Colour Extreme : 2 coats
Remarks
To achieve utmost durability, especially over new concrete, moisture content of the walls must not exceed 16%
and use Cito Primer 09 or Jotun Ultra Primer before topcoat with 2 coats of Jotashield Colour Extreme.
Storage
The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well
ventilated space and away from sources of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Handle
with care.
Certificates
Complies to Singapore Green Label, Malaysia SIRIM Eco-Label and MS-Sirim.
Tests
Xenon Arc Accelerated Weathering test according to SS 5 : Part G4 : 2003
