Unpacking
Although your IM-300/IMS-300/IMC-300/IMD-300 is neither complicated nor difficult to operate, we
recommend you take a few minutes to read this brief manual and familiarize yourself with the important
information regarding product features, setup and operation.
As with most electronic devices, we strongly recommend you retain the original packaging. In the unlikely event
the product must be returned for servicing, the original packaging (or reasonable equivalent) is required.
Installation
Environment
Never place this product in an environment which could alter its performance or reduce its service life. Such
environments usually include high levels of heat, dust, moisture, and vibration.

Outline
This product is convenient to progress middle/large conference and provides various convenient functions for
smooth progress of meeting. Especially, reservation by digital communication, speaking time setting and release
and display, Free Mode, emergent reservation, volume control and other various functions are provided for
meeting. Up to 250 MIC units can be expanded, and various cables are prepared for various installation space.
These products consist of 4 total models and features of respective model are as follow:
Features
IM-300 (Main controller amplifier)
- Displays various operation modes by adopting a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) on the dot matrix method
- Built-in 60W Mono AMP
- Records contents of conference via USB memory (MP3 file)
- Connects up to 30 mic units (IMC/IMD-300)
- Connects up to 8 units (IMS-300) to expanded amplifier(up to 250 mic units(IMD-300) expandable)
- Built-in monitor speaker to check operation status

1. HANDLE
A handle is designed to install or easily handle this unit on the racks.
2. POWER SWITCH
This is a switch to supply power. Pressing this switch enables the VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) to
display ‘MIC INITIAL’ for about 10 seconds and indicate mic numbers connected and operate the unit.
3. USB JACK
This is a jack to record contents of conference in MP3 file. Pressing the recording button which is No.9 of the
front panel after connecting USB memory enables to start saving. In ending Save File, remove USB memory
after pressing the recording button once again. Where saving capacity of USB memory is 1Gbyte, the unit
can save memory for 20 hours at the bit rate of 128Kbit.
5. MODE BUTTON
This is a mode to select person numbers to speaking and Reverse Mode and Free Mode are cyclic whenever
pressing the button.
- Reserve Mode: A person with relevant number by reservation.
- FREE Mode: All participants can speak.
7. 1 CLEAR BUTTON
Pressing this button for setting Reserve Mode enables to cancel speaking of the current speaker and allow
speaking of the next reserved speaker.
※ You can turn off the IMC-300 Chairman mic using this button when mic continues to turn on even after
ending speaking at the IMC-300 Chairman mic. Pressing and holdinhg this switch for 1.5 sec enables to
turn off the IMC-300 Chairman mic. The Chairman Mic Ring LED and speaking display LED flicker 3 times
and turn off.
※ Caution: Take care since the 1 Clear (cancel of current speaker) operates if pressing this button with the
IMC-300 Chairman Mic Off.
9. RECORDING BUTTON
This is a button to start and end for recording meeting minutes. Saving of meeting minutes at a MP3 file
starts if pressing this button after inserting USB memory into the No.3 USB jack of the front panel. If pressing
this button, ‘REC COMPLETE’ is displayed on the VFD and saving is ended if pressing it once again.

1. EARPHONE JACK
You can listen to sound output by earphone with 3.5mm jack. Sound of the speaker is interrupted in using
the earphone jack.
7. 1 CLEAR KEY
This is a button to cancel the current speaker’s speaking right in the Reverse Operation Mode (speaking by
reservation order), and to allow speaking of the next subscriber.
20. FLEXIBLE
You can conveniently adjust and use mic up or down.

3. AUX IN/OUT
This is an AUX Unbalanced I/O jack with line level used for connecting outer sound source equipment.
4. LINE INPUT
This is a Balanced XLR input jack used for connecting outer sound source equipment.
5. RS-232C JACK
This is a control port for using a remote control device such as AMX/CRESTRON control system and its pin
specification and controllable operation specification are as follows (maximum cable length is about 15m).

2. LINK IN CONNECTOR
This is a D-SUB 15P Female Connector, which connects the unit to the sub-amplifier expansion connector or
the Link Out of IM-300 or link output of former IMS-300 using connecting cable 2.
* Connecting cable 2 (Length: 2M, D-SUB MALE, D-SUB MALE) is basic specification and is provided in the
IMS-300 (sub-amplifier). Please use included cable provided. About cables refer to the 16 page.
Display
1. IM-300 Main Controller VFD/LED
1) Mode Key: Free Mode and Reserve Mode are repeated whenever pressing this key.
- Free Mode: Displays “FREE 00 0:00” after displaying “FREE”.
- Reserve Mode: Displays “WAIT 00(reserved person numbers) 0:00(continued speaking time)” after
displaying “RESERVE”.
2) Chime Key: Displays “Chime Play”.
3) All Clear Key: Displays “All Clear”.
4) 1 Clear Key: Displays “One Clear”.
5) Time Set
- In case of 1 minute, displays “SPEAKING TIME 1Min”.
- In case of 2 minutes, displays “SPEAKING TIME 2Min”.
- In case of 3 minutes, displays “SPEAKING TIME 3Min”.
- In case of 4 minutes, displays “SPEAKING TIME 4Min”.
- In case of 5 minutes, displays “SPEAKING TIME 5Min”.
6) Time Clear Key (IMC-300): Displays “SPEAKING TIME OPEN”.
7) USB Memory Stick inserted: Displays “USB Detected”.
8) REC Key: “R” flickers for Saving, “R” lights off for Ending.
9) Main Volume – For the VFD, 24 steps are displayed from Volume MIN to Volume MAX. – For a LED, 12
steps are displayed.
10) For chairman’s speaking: Displays “Chairman”.
11) For calling of emergent speaking: Displays “EDC (Emergency Delegate Call)” mark.
12) Input signal level: Displays 20 levels in the Graphic Level.
* Be sure to use enclosed cables since connecting cables are designed only for this purpose.

※Please obtain sufficient space so that heat radiating holes on the top side and the bottom side
should not be clogged when installing this unit for further stable operation.
