Responsibilities:
Phase 1 :- Fuji Xerox currently migrated from 11.0.3 to Oracle Applications rel. 11.5.9 for GL, AP, AR, FA, OM, INV,
PO, PA and Planning. I Wrote Data Migration Scripts for AP and GL, Data Migration for Production Cutover,
Migration of custom reports, forms and Stored Procedures/Packages from 11.0.3 to 11.5.9, Providing 24x7
troubleshooting and support for the Oracle Applications, Unix Shell scripting to automate various job scheduling,
interface, Test Plan etc.,
Code change for Order Entry (OE) procedures and reports to map to Order Management (OM) WSH Delivery

Phase 2:- In this phase I tuned all reports / PL/SQL Procedures / Concurrent Programs, and achieved a
goal of “One Minute Report” (means every concurrent program should complete running in one minute)

Cadence currently using Oracle Applications Rel. 9.4 and wants to migrate the same to Rel. 11i. This project is
divided into two phases.
Phase I: Migrate the Rel. 9.4 to Rel. 10.7.
Phase II: Migrate Rel 10.7 to Rel. 11i.

Role and Responsibilities: Oracle Apps DBA

As an Oracle Application DBA, I am responsible for performing the Pre Migration Steps, Perform AutoUpgrade, and
Post Migration Steps.
Identified and analyzed customizations in Oracle Applications Rel. 9.4 for GL, AP, AR, PO, PA modules at schema
level with respect to the functional specifications and design specifications given by Cadence, Identified the
customized concurrent programs / forms / menus / responsibilities in Oracle Applications Rel. 9.4, Migration of
Oracle Applications Rel. 9.4 Database Objects to Oracle Applications Rel. 10.7 and then 11i, Troubleshooting
ADAIMGR driver files during migration, Installation of Oracle Applications Rel. 10.7/11i on Sun Solaris.
