Topic : UNIT 6 - THE OLD HOUSE Theme: World of Stories

Learning standard 4.3.2 Spell a narrow range of familiar high frequency 2.1.2 Find out about personal information by
words accurately in guided writing asking basic questions

1) By the end of the lesson all pupils will be able to: spell and categorized nouns.
Learning Objectives
2) By the end of the lesson some pupils will be able to: say out loud nouns.

Success Criteria/
1) Pupils can spell at least 5 nouns that they’ve learnt.
Can do statements 2) Pupils can say out loud at least 5 nouns.

LEARNING OUTLINES:

Pre Lesson  Pupils are introduced to nouns.

 Pupils are given noun foldable.


 Pupils are guided to complete the foldable by writing the noun according to the categories and
Lesson Development in singular and plural (M)
 Pupils are given set of nouns and they categorise the given words according to the categories
in the foldable. (L)
 Pupils are called out random to give their nouns.
Post Lesson  Lists of nouns are written on the board and pupils are called out to categories the nouns with
the help of their group member.
