Isha Forest Flower Dec 2014
For over six years, we indulged in monthly tidbits of Krishna’s Leela, as narrated and interpreted
by Sadhguru during the 2005 program of the same name. In this edition of Isha Forest Flower, we
embark on a new exploration into one of India’s great cultural legacies – the Mahabharat saga.
We dug deep into our archives to unearth a gem from the early days of Isha. Our article “The Way
of Acceptance” is based on a talk by Sadhguru from the legendary 1994 Wholeness program,
during which Sadhguru unleashed the mystic and Guru in him before the incredulous eyes of the
participants. Here, he bespeaks the importance of acceptance for those who are serious about
the spiritual path.
In the aftermath of the grand Mahashivaratri celebrations this year, Shekhar Kapur and Sadhguru
quietly came together in front of Linga Bhairavi to discuss matters of creativity, the feminine, and
more. Our article “Tools to Tap the Source of Creation” is a first excerpt of this enjoyably lively
conversation.
Sadhguru urges us to get the fundamentals in place before aiming for lofty goals such as
enlightenment. “How to Get a Grip on Your Body and Your Mind” is the most imperative question
to be dealt with before aiming at higher dimensions, and our Lead Article has Sadhguru’s practical
advice on how to tackle it. In this context, breath awareness is one of the most basic yet easily
forgotten instructions in Isha Hatha Yoga. In this month’s hatha yoga article, Sadhguru expounds
