** Ilford Patent - Reference developer - this is likely to be the commercial version of ID-11
D76a was published in the BJP 26th Oct 1934
D76 (Windisch) Hans Windisch gives this version of D76 in his books - The New Photo School (English 1938) and Die Neu Foto Schule (German 1938/1944
DK76 Kodak also advocated replacing the Borak in D76 and it's replenisher with an equal quanity of Sodium Metaborate (Kodalk). Ansco/GAF did similar with Ansco 17M

Eastman Kodak Research -Fine Grain Developer published 1927, A.P., and 1928 BJP Almanac as Avoirdupois weights etc, it's not stated whether the Fl Oz are US or UK, see H76 (D76H).

DK76, D76F, DK76F etc - Kodak published alternative formulae for D76 in the late 1930's with recommended development times for increased Borak and also using Sodium Metaborate (Kodalk) instead, times were given for, 2, 5, 10 & 20 g/litre.

D25 R is the replenisher for D23 and D25

# D76h should not be confused with the none official hypothetical "D76H", which is better called H76, proposed to Bill Troop by Grant Haist, is a slight variant of the 1927 Eastman Kodak Research Fine Grain developer.

*** Ansco 17 is also known as Agfa 17 in Ansco/GAF Formulary. The German Agfa/Orwo equivalent is Agfa/Orwo 44
