    ADVERBS OF MANNER
    ❖ Adverbs of manner tell us how something
    happens.
    Some common adverbs of manner are:
    angrily, carefully, carelessly, clearly, happily,
    Thoughtfully, badly, etc.

    He talked clearly
    He drives carefully.
    She sings badly.
    ADVERBS OF PLACE
    ❖ Adverbs of place tell us where something happens.
    They are usually placed after the main verb or after
    the object.
    ❖ Some common adverbs of place are: along, away,
    back, down, here, there, inside, outside, here, up,
    etc.
    They live there.
    He went inside.

    ❖ Adverbs of time tell us when an action takes


    place. Some common adverbs of time are later,
    next, now, soon, still then, today, tomorrow,
    yesterday, etc.
    .We will call you soon.
    .Jack bought the gift today.
    .There are coming next week.
    .I m still hungry.
    .They arrived late there.
    Adverbs of Frequency

    ❖ Adverbs of Frequency tell us "How often?" or


    "How frequently?” things happen.
    ❖ Some common adverbs of frequency are:
    always, usually, normally, often, sometimes,
    occasionaly, seldom, rarely, hardly ever and
    never,
    .She is usually on time.
    .He occasionaly arrives early.
    .The sun always rises in the east.
    . I sometimes go to the movies.
    He is sometimes on time.
    . Sometimes I go to the movies
    . I go to the movies sometimes

    Frecuency advebs go before a simple verb ( I always have dinner at home) or after the
    verb “to be” (They are never on time).

    Sometimes can go before a simple verb, after the verb to be, at the begining of the
    sentence and at the end of the sentence.
