    TOTAL BUDGET (per team): Rs 75 Crores

    BIDDING FOR IPL FRANCHISES:

    1. Participating teams must bid for an IPL franchise to begin with. In total, 8 IPL
    franchises will go under the hammer. Each IPL franchise has been rated on a scale of
    100 points on the basis of their actual performance in the previous editions of the
    IPL upto IPL 2018(inc.)

    The difference in points between the highest and lowest rated franchise is 45
    points.

    2. Bids should increase in multiples of Rs 10 lakhs.

    3. Each IPL Franchise has different base price based on their past performances. The
    minimum base price of a franchise is Rs 5 Crores.

    4. Early Bid Bonus: Additional points for bidding early.

    Buy the first team being auctioned +25 pts


    Buy the second team being auctioned +20 pts
    Buy the third team being auctioned +15 pts
    Buy the fourth team being auctioned +10 pts
    Buy the fifth team being auctioned +5 pts
    Buy the sixth team being auctioned 0 pts
    Buy the seventh team being auctioned -5 pts
    Buy the eighth team being auctioned -10 pts
    5. If a franchise is not bid by anyone, it will go unsold and the next franchise would be
    picked from the lot and this unsold franchise will be re-auctioned.
    6. Prize money awarded in IPL 2018 will be added to the respective team’s total
    budget.

    Runners-Ups Rs. 10 Crore

    3rd Place Rs. 5 Crore

    4th Place Rs. 2.5 Crore

    7. One Brand Ambassador per franchise can be hired. Each Brand Ambassador brings
    additional points based upon popularity index. They are rated on a scale of ten.
    8. One Cheerleader (CL) group per franchisee can be hired. Stadium occupancy
    depends upon CL group hired.
    9. Additional amount can be earned based upon combination of Home ground
    capacity & CL group hired.

    IPL PLAYER AUCTION

     Team Composition: Each IPL team should have ATLEAST 7 Indian players & 4 foreign
    players. Also, Your IPL team composition should have the following MINIMUM
    requirements.

    Batsmen 5
    Bowlers 4
    All Rounder 1
    Wicket Keeper 1

     There is NO LIMIT on the maximum number of players in your team as long as you
    remain within your allocated budget. Team unable to meet the minimum team
    composition or overshooting their budget will be DISQUALIFIED.
     Bidding of each player starts at its respective base price. Order of auction of players
    to be decided by DRAW FROM LOTS and has absolutely no correlation with the rating
    points associated with the player.
     Every player has been rated on a scale ranging between 240 to 120 pts based on their
    past records. The difference in points between the highest and lowest rated player
    is 120 points.
     There will be NO RE-AUCTION of players.
     Bids will increase in multiples of Rs 25 lakhs up to Rs 4 Crores and Rs 10 lakhs
    thereafter.so retained
     The auctioneer has the final call over any dispute that may arise during the auctions
    and his decision shall be final and binding.
    SCORE CALCULATION

    Winners to be decided on the basis of TOTAL POINTS ACCUMULATED under the following
    heads:

    a. Sum total of the ratings of all the players bought by a team.


    b. Rating points of IPL franchise bought + Early bid bonus point + Brand ambassador
    + Cheer leader group
    c. Bonus 5 pts for every
    I. Additional batsmen bought
    II. Additional bowlers bought
    III. Additional Wicket Keeper bought
    IV. Additional All Rounder bought
    d. If you buy a total of more than 15 players with atleast 6 batsmen, 5 bowlers, 2
    WK, 2 All Rounders), you get additional 40 bonus points.
    e. If you buy the Captain for your corresponding franchise, then you get an
    additional bonus of 40 points.
