Marty McFly's Graphics Enhancement 3 (MMGE 3)

7. A note about Redistribution

==============================================================================

Requirements:
-------------

- Non-Steam GTA:SA with NO!! modifications installed. I am not responsible for

anything if you ignore this.
- My mod
- SA-MP if you want to play it (SAMP ENB fix not needed)

==============================================================================

Installation:
-------------

1. Create a backup of GTASA\data\timecyc.dat

2. To make your GTASA modable, downgrade using the downgrader from
http://sa-mp.com/ (even if you don't want to play SA-MP).
3. If you want to play SA-MP, install it now.
4. Extract the content of [To GTASA folder] to your GTASA folder,
overwrite if prompted.
5. You may now start the game. ENBSeries has to compile a lot of complex
shaders, application might be unresponsive for some time.

SA-MP: 6. SA-MP does not load the timecyc.dat from the data folder but MMGE 3
heavily relies on that one. To workaround that, open the gta_sa.exe
with any hex editor (or Notepad++), search for string "TIMECYC.DAT"
and change some letters (keep same length), like "TIMECYC.TXT".
Save changes.
7. Rename the MMGE 3 timecyc.dat in the data folder exactly like the
string inside gta_sa.exe. If you called it TIMECYC.TXT, rename it
to timecyc.txt as well.
7.1If you get a crash at startup "GTASA requires at least Direct X 9.0"
then you fucked up the hex editing. In which case you're too nooby
for modding and better sell your PC and start eating crayons or
something.

==============================================================================

Uninstallation:
-------------
1. Delete "enbseries" folder, d3d9.dll, enblocal.ini, enbseries.ini
2. In GTASA\data folder, delete timecyc.dat and use your backup of this
file.

==============================================================================

Common issues and solutions:

----------------------------

GTASA CTD immediately after start, no error message:

delete gta_sa.set file in

My Documents\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas User Files\
and try again.

GTASA blackscreen and crash with error message:

This might be generic Windows 8+ incompatibility, you can try

my fix from [Windows 8+ fix] folder but if that doesn't work,
there is nothing you can do. Nothing I can do, it's ENBSeries
itself that is the problem here.
Report issue in enbdev.com forums.

Weird graphical glitches like overpowered godrays etc.

You did not use my timecyc.dat (or use SA-MP without the exe
modification). Or you tried to steal from MMGE 3 in which case
this happens.

Low performance

That is to be expected actually, this ENB is made for maximum

graphical quality, for HQ screenshots or such. Don't expect
to play smoothly with this :v

FAQ:
----

Q: Does this run on [your PC components]?

A: Trying it out costs <2 minutes of your lifetime. The worst that can
happen is that your game crashes. If that happens, just delete your
folder and use the backup again. If you have no backup, you've
just learned a valuable life lesson!

Q: I don't like it!

A: Nobody forces you to like it.

Q: My game crashes!
A: There are numerous reasons why this can crash. Important is:
If it crashes immediately after program start, ENB is the problem.
If it crashes while loading screen, something else like a mod
is the reason.
Extern reasons to cause crashes:

- wrong driver settings

- overlay programs like Fraps, XFire, Crossfire etc.
- failed installation (where I cannot imagine HOW someone
can successfully install GTA:SA and fail this even easier
installation...)
- unsupported graphics card (only very old models)

Q: I have graphical glitches (like black outlining of world etc).

AMD User.
A: This is sadly a common issue. Open up the enbseries.ini and
set Enable Shadows=false. Sadly, there is no other way.

Q: How can I contact you?

A: Contact me on facebook or on GTAForums:

facebook.com/MartyMcModding
gtaforums.com/user/548558-marty-mcfly/

Q: I don't have facebook!

A: Sorry, but suck it. I don't sign up on all different things
like twitter or whatever just to give support to everyone.

Q: But can I have your email?

A: No, never again. I did that once, the result is that this
email account gets rougly 300 spam mails per day because
people kept subscribing on porn sites or similiar with
that address only to annoy me. Not a big deal for me but
a big deal for everyone seeking for help. Sorry again,
but I'm not the one you have to blame.

Redistribution:
---------------

NO! adf.ly
NO! selling
NO! reusing of parts of this ENB in ANYTHING else
NO! repacking
NO! false copyright claims

I will monitor this on multiple websites AND forums, some of which you wouldn't
even expect me. Doing any of the above will result in immediate report and
removal of file.

If you want to reupload the file on another mod hoster similiar to GTAinside.com
provide the exact same file (no repacking with other password) with exactly the
same name and exactly the same description like on GTAinside.
I think I made my points clear, thanks for reading.
