Conditional seentence

IF CLAUSE

Type 1
Fungsi : digunakan untk menyatakan suatu peristiwa yg akan terjadi diwaktu
yang akan bila syarat tertentu

RUMUS == ( IF + S + V1/Ves + O, S + WILL + V1 + O )

Ex. If I graduated from my college on time, They will give me the job
If he is here, I will be happy

Type 2
Fungsi : digunakan untk menyatakan peristiwa yang tak mungkin terjadi
karena syarat tdk dpat dipenuhi (unlike condition)

RUMUS == ( IF + S + V2/Ved + O, S + Would + V1 + O )

Ex. If I won the lottery, I would buy the house


If she were here with me, I would be very happy

Ket_gunakan “were” kalo ga ada kata kerja., untk smua subjek. ”was” tidak
berlaku

Type 3
Fungsi : digunakan untk menyatakan keadaan yang seharusnya telah terjadi di
waktu lampau, namun tak terjadi karena syarat tak terpnuhi.

RUMUS == ( IF + S + Had V3 + O, S + Would have V3 + O

Ex. If u had attended my party last night, u would have met your old friends.
If she had been fine, I would not have been sad.

Ex.
1. If I got the money, would buy you the comic.
Fact: I don’t get the money so I don’t buy you the comic.
2. If my mother prepared the break fast, we would eat it.
Mother doesn’t prepare the breakfast so we don’t eat it.
3. Father would pick me if I asked him.
Father doesn’t pick me because I don’t ask him.
4. If the teacher didn’t come we would be happy.
The Teacher comes so we aren’t be happy.
5. The teacher would give us the test if we were ready.
The teacher doesn’t give us the test because we aren’t ready.
6. The boy wouldn’t play in the rain if his mother didn’t permit him
The boy plays in the rain because his Mother permits him.
