    Remember:

    If + had+ verb participle / would + have, has + verb participle

    Complete the sentences using the verbs in brackets.

    1. If you had told me about the concert, I would have gone (go).
    2. I wouldn’t have been angry if you had not eaten (not eat) my chocolate.
    3. If he had known you were in hospital, he would have visited (visit) you.
    4. We would have visited the Prado gallery if we had had (have) time.
    5. If I had knew (know) your number, I would have phoned.
    6. They would have come (come) to see you if they hadn’t been away.

    Match the clauses in column A with the correct information in column B.
