    It has come to my knowledge that the hiring of teachers for Tugbok District is now on-going. In
    this regard, I am applying for a teaching position in Imelda Elementary School as it is my utmost
    desire to be a part of the Department of Education and be of service to the children.

    I am Maria Lucille O. Mejias, 22 years old and a resident of Brgy. Santo Nino, Tugbok District,
    Davao City. I graduated Cumlaude in the University of Southern Philippines, Obrero with the
    degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English. My educational experiences and
    trainings gave me an opportunity to interact with diverse learners and individuals of all ages
    which challenged me to more creative, nurturing, versatile and most of all patient. I am self-
    motivated, hardworking, dedicated and with good moral character. With my abilities and
    qualifications, I believed I can contribute in producing excellent learners in accordance to the
    DepEd’s mission and vision.
