CAN YOU PLAY PASSING EXERCISE

FIRST PHASE
KF: First touch to take ball around ‘defender’ so they can’t cut out pass
Area: 15 x 10 yards
P2 P4
P1 P3

1 P1 passes to P2. P2 drags ball around and makes pass to P4. At the same time P4 passes
ball to P3 who drags ball around and passes to P1. Repeat using opposite foot.

KF: Pass to middle players should be timed


P2 so they receive it when they pull wide.

P3

2 Setup as per step 1 but now P2 and P3 spin off and pull wide to receive pass from end
players and return pass back. Repeat.

KF: Open up body angle to receive


P3 ball on back foot to speed up play

3 As per step 2 but now P2 and P3 receive bal on back foot (ie. let ball run across body) to
make pass to end player. So for example P1 plays to P2, P2 plays to P4. Repeat.
