The upper age limit indicated above is for candidates belonging to General Category. The
upper age limit will be relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and 10
years for PWD candidates.

QUALIFICATION
Full time B.E./B.Tech in the above mentioned Engineering disciplines, acquired from reputed
AICTE approved colleges. General & OBC candidates should have First Class. Pass Class for
SC/ST/PWD Candidates. Candidates should enclose valid documents for conversion of
CGPA to percentage / class. Candidates from any other Engineering disciplines need not
apply.

AGE:
Age relaxation of 3 years will be given to OBC candidates, 5 years for candidates belonging
to SC/ST category and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities, as per government guidelines.
EXPERIENCE:

ES 01 & ES 04 – Sr. Engineer (Civil)/ Dy. Engineer (Civil)

 The Candidate should have experience in infrastructure project management of


large , multidisciplinary industrial and building infrastructure projects preferably
involving internal and external electrical works, AC, IBMS, networking
communication, workstations, firefighting systems, interiors etc.
 Candidate shall possess project management skills, Infrastructure Contract
management, good knowledge and exposure to CPWD/MES/PWD/Gov. contract
methods, procedures, specifications, works manuals and shall be conversant with
the applicable statutory requirements, rules in force etc.
 Candidate is required to relocate on multiple works pan India basis and abroad at
the discretion of the company

ES 02 - Sr. Engineer (Mechanical)


 Should possess knowledge of different types of Air conditioning systems, AUTO CAD
software, HVAC Design software, Design of centralized Air conditioning system,
Heat load calculation, Duct design and pipe design, Preparation of specification and
BOQ for tendering, Rate analysis for items of BOQ, , relevant codes & standards for
HVAC design, etc
 Should have Experience in co-ordination with other disciplines like Electrical and
architectural drawing etc.
 Should be willing to travel across the country for site visits for the purpose of
survey, clarifications and customer interactions.

ES 03 & ES 05- Sr. Engineer (Electrical)/ Dy. Engineer (Electrical)


 Should have on-site experience in infrastructure projects execution with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure the electrical systems and requirements for industrial
buildings and special infrastructure projects, preferably involving internal and external
electrical works including HV & MV substations.

 Should possess knowledge in electrical safety regulations, latest codes and standards of
electrical installations, energy efficiency & ECBC and best practices of electrical works.

 Should have technical skills in planning, design, engineering of industrial power


distribution systems, equipment specifications, prepare electrical load calculations for
single and three phase loads, voltage drop, short circuit calculations, LPS and Earthing
systems. Should have knowledge in AUTO CAD and the relevant discipline design
softwares.
 Should have problem solving skills to investigate customer complaints, determine nature
and extent of problem and recommend remedial measures.

 Should possess knowledge in preparation of technical specification, RFQs, technical bid


summaries, rate analysis and BOQ for tendering for Internal and External Electrical
works, measurement and billing of contract works and exposure to CPWD, MES
Standards, NBC, Contract procedures etc.

 Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and should be willing to


travel and relocate across the country for site visits for the purpose of execution, survey,
clarifications and customer interactions.

METHOD OF SELECTION:

Posts in E-II / E-III - Selection will be through a Written Test, followed by an Interview
only for those candidates who qualify in the written test.

GENERAL:
In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances like Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance,
35% of the Annual Basic Pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life
Insurance, Medical reimbursement, Provident Fund & Pension, as per the Company's rules,
will be part of the remuneration package.

General/ OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 500/- towards application
fee through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). SC/ ST /PWD
candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates are requested to read
the details and screenshots for making the payment. Screenshots and instructions for the same
are provided below this advertisement link. Candidates can also make the payment by
approaching SBI branch. Candidates need to select SBI branch in the payment option and
download & print the challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee
of Rs. 500/- plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to
obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.

General / OBC candidates have to enter the “SBCollect reference No.” generated after
payment, in the Application Form. Payment receipt should be attached to the hard copy of
the Application form along with other enclosures. Candidates may go through all instructions
and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and sending the application.
Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates working in PSUs / Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit the


application through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of the
interview. Candidates who are shortlisted for the interview, but are unable to produce No
Objection Certificate, will not be interviewed under any circumstances. Outstation
candidates, who are shortlisted for the interview, will be reimbursed Sleeper class to and fro
train fare by the shortest route (from their correspondence address).
Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, not legible or without the
required enclosures, will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons and no
correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Only Indian nationals need apply.

HOW TO APPLY:

link has been provided to submit the application online and click on the post to be applied.
The candidates have to fill in all the required details, verify the data entered and click on
Submit. Also click on Save which saves the filled in application in pdf format. Print option is
provided to take the print of the application. The printed application along with the
photocopies of the below mentioned documents/enclosures to be forwarded to DGM HR
(ES&C-D&E), Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore - 560013, so as to
reach by 25.08.2018.
Checklist of documents to be enclosed with the application form and sent by post:-

i) SSLC certificate (as proof of date of birth)


ii) B.E./B.Tech Provisional/Final Degree Certificate
iii) All semester marks cards.
iv) Valid documents for conversion of CGPA to percentage & class
v) Caste / Disability certificate (if applicable). (OBC certificate should be latest, in the
prescribed format dated on or after 01.02.2018)
vi) No Objection Certificate (if applicable)
vii) Fee Payment Receipt. (If applicable)
viii) Experience certificates, clearly indicating the tenure of service
ix) Duties and responsibilities carried out in the current / previous jobs.

Failure to forward the indicated enclosures will result in disqualification, even if the
candidates have remitted the application fee. The Caste / Disability Certificate should be
strictly in the format available on the BEL website, failing which, candidates will be
considered under „General‟ category only, provided they are meeting all other criteria
prescribed for General candidates.

The number of posts indicated above, may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of
selection. Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id, which is to be
entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the written test / interview will be
sent by e-mail to the email Id furnished by the candidate. BEL will not be responsible for
