FORCE DIAGRAM / MEASURING POINTS
The theoretical extension force is calculated by multiplying the filling pressure by the cross section of the
piston rod. By changing these two factors, it is possible for Easylift to supply gas springs with any requested
Moving
extension force. Our standard specifications are available from 10N to 5000N. The extension force is always
mentioned with the specification and relates to the value F1 measured at 20°C ± 2°C with the piston rod products...

better and last longer.
G These values can be influenced by the gas volume or the oil quantity. A
special characteristic of Easylift gas springs is the low friction value.
Through the combinations of different nozzle orifices and oil quantity, it

On a daily basis, engineers are faced with the challenge of improving existing products
as well as developing new ones. Typically, movement is required, whether to lift a bar
or lid, lower a seat or simply open a door. One of the easiest ways to improve product
performance is to reduce the amount of energy needed to do the work. For example:
One may have a door or lid that weighs hundreds of pounds. By using an Easylift gas
spring, you can reduce the amount of external energy necessary to operate the door
or lid.
Easylift offers a comprehensive range of products that will fit any application. Easylift
products are used in countless industries; such as marine, aerospace, furniture, recre-
ation, automotive, medical, machine construction, home and office furnishings...and
many more!
At Easylift we are constantly producing parts for our extensive stock. We pride our-
selves on maintaining a complete inventory to serve you with the fastest lead-time in
the industry. We can also custom manufacture parts for nearly every application.
Our product engineers can answer your questions over the phone. The internet also
serves as a valuable resource for design and order information. Please visit us at:

RELEASE SYSTEM WITH LEVER
The release lever is the easiest and most frequently used device to
activate a lockable gas spring. The system attaches to a gas spring
with a release head connector, and then the lever is inserted into
the connector. This allows a user to directly lock and un-lock the
system. You may also choose the variable release head connector,
which allows a lever to be mounted on any side of the spring.

GAS SPRINGS
ADJUSTABLE
The most efficient way to operate a lock-
able gas spring is with a hydraulic STANDARD HYDRAULIC RELEASE
release system. By using a hydraulic For tight applications please ask for angle-connector
hose (filled with either water or oil) to
connect the system to the spring, you
can release the spring with just the
touch of a button. The release can be
mounted or moveable, making it an
ideal system for applications that need
to operate around corners or edges.
Additionally, you have the option of
releasing two gas springs simultaneous-
ly or releasing one gas spring from two
separate points. Suitable for tempera-
tures from 0° C to 60° C.

STAINLESS STEEL GAS SPRINGS
The corrosion resistance offered by stainless steel make this an ideal option for the
marine, food service and medical industries, as well as many others where temperature
and weather extremes are a factor. Most sizes and forces are available or can be custom
designed.

Our extensive product line of gas traction springs often provide solutions for any application. Designed
for controlled pulling, adjusting and damping.
GAS RINGS
Easylift is proud to be an industry leader with our innovative gas
traction springs, which work in the opposite direction of a stan-
dard spring. Where a standard spring will extend, a traction
spring will compress. This is crucial for applications where there
