Application Details
Application Guide Following preparation and any priming there are two basic stages of providing

reinforcement of Sika Reemat Premium-120:
Detail work/embedment: When working on protrusions, up-stands, parapets or
other fixtures and fittings which are not part of the main horizontal or vertical
®
substrate, pre-cut required lengths of Sika Reemat Premium-120. Apply coating
to the area to be reinforced using a brush or roller. Immediately lay the precut
®
lengths of Sika Reemat Premium-120 reinforcement onto the wet coating and
firmly embed.
Large area/embedment: Apply the coating at the correct coverage rate, working
®
on 4 - 6 m² at a time. Lay Sika Reemat Premium-120 onto the wet coating and

Application Instructions
Application Method Prior to the application the substrate must be prepared and the priming coat must
have cured tack free. For the waiting time/overcoating please refer to the chosen
coating system PDS of the appropriate primer.
First apply a sufficient quantity of the chosen coating system by roller/brush/spray

to be able to thoroughly wet the Sika Reemat Premium-120. Roll in the Sika
Reemat Premium-120 so that there are no bubbles or creases and apply the next
layers of coating to achieve the required total film thickness. Please refer to the
chosen coating system PDS for the total materials consumption required. Overlap
®
Sika Reemat Premium-120 by at least 50 mm. At borders to other waterproofing
membranes overlap by a minimum of 100 mm.
