Reflection
(5 senses)
Today’s lesson was about five senses, the learning objectives are the students are able to recognize the
five senses, and to identify between the good and the bad smell. I prepared three activities, one of them is
about the five senses in general, and the other two activities are about the sense of smell. The first activity
the students should look at the sense, this activity was not very excited and some students felt that is a
hard activity because they are still explore their senses and how they use it well, also not all the students
are able to do it or to solve it. each student should have closed their eyes and smell the things that I
prepared for the smelling such as, grape vinegar, moldy cheese for the bad smell, and for the good smell
there are food (pastries), honey, and scented tissue. It was successful activity and the students like it, also
it was an enthusiastic activity for all. The last activity which they have to do it in groups. In this activity,
they first discus with each other to match the things are for bad or for good smell, then if they have
difficulty to solve it they can check the smell of it and then match it. Through positive relationships the
children learn to be strong and independent in the UK EYFS curriculum. The strength of this lesson that
there was an activity that has to use one of your sense to solve or to complete the activity. Moreover, there
was an activity that they should discus to each other to complete it
