Multiplication is splitting into equal parts or groups. It is the result of "fair sharing"

At the begin of the lesson I will ask the student to set at the carpet then I will greet the students, I will tell
them that we are going to complete what do last class which is division by repeated subtraction. And we
are going to review the meaning of division. I will ask students to remind me of the meaning. After they say
it they will have a little story about sharing cupcakes with 3 girls and the students have to see how to share 10min
equally. Then the in groups they will have 5 minutes to do an equal sharing by cutting the items in the work
sheet to make them equal to the box that they have it in the paper I will explain for them in the broad.
Then we will discuss about it.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):
In the power point I will show an example of division by repeated subtraction and I will tell the students
answer it also I will have question by the number line. I will review to them until the question ends.

then they will have the worksheet they have to know what the how to do division by repeated addition they
will use the number line to solve it and write the answer for the problems they have
The groups are divide to 4 groups high low and two middles. The student’s groups will display in the board,
so they can know which groups to go.
The High group which is cones group activity they will have a worksheet have a long division by 2 digits. 20min
they will find the answer pf each division and color it on the bingo board. if they get bingo, they will draw a
line through the winning row.

The medium group which spheres and cylinders they will have the same activity will have the worksheet
have 6 division problem and they will have the number line in the table they have to find the answer and
also write the repeated subtraction on the questions.

The low group which is cubes group they will a equal sharing worksheet they have to division by equal
sharing they will divide the object to equal into the box to find the answer of the division problem.

Then we will come back to the carpet then we will play a game in the board. they will have the answer they
have to know what is the division problem for it. 10 min
