CHRIST THE ANTIDOTE REGARDING DEATH

Part 114.

Prisoners Of Hope!

''Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare
that I will restore double your former prosperity to you''. Zech 9:12. Amplified.

In the very last words of the first verse of this above chapter we read that ''for the Lord has an eye
upon mankind AS UPON all the tribes of Israel''. Keep well in mind that this is not only written to
Israel but if we read the whole chapter we will realise that this is definitely for this very day. At the end
of verse 11, we read these prophetic words, ''I have released & sent forth your imprisoned people out of
the waterless pit''. Natural water stands for that which will sustain our thirst & is most needful. Spiritual
water would represent that which we need to revive us & keep us alive in our spiritual walk.

Every person who is alive today are prisoners who were purposely lowered in & by the will of God,

''For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath
subjected the same in HOPE''. Rom 8:20. KJV.

''For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not
because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it--[yet] with the
HOPE. That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain
an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God's children.'' Rom 8:20-21. Amplified.

Regarding the verses below, many would think because they are O.T. that they would depict only a
hard lined Deity. Not so! Nehemiah would enhance the thought of a Wonderful God who is willing to
forgive & show mercy even when His commands were thrown back in His face so to speak.

''They refused to obey, And they were not mindful of Your wonders That You did among them. But
they hardened their necks, And in their rebellion They appointed a leader To return to their bondage.
But You are God, Ready to pardon, Gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, Abundant in kindness, And
did not forsake them.'' Neh 9:17. NKJV. Then a little later to drive the nail right home we read in verse
27.
''Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, Who oppressed them; And in the time
of their trouble, When they cried to You, You heard from heaven; And according to Your abundant
mercies You gave them deliverers - saviours - who saved them From the hand of their enemies.'' Neh
9:27. NKJV.
This would show us that even today when principles & standards have departed from many of the
assemblies & they are allowing things that were once unmentionable, amongst 30 or 60 fold, pentecostal
or otherwise. They all come under the category of 'Prisoners of Hope'. We notice in the above Neh
9:27 verse that God sent them deliverers which comes from the word meaning Saviours. # 3467. To
enhance this thought we read prophetically in Obadiah 1:21.

''Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be
the LORD's.'' Oba 1:21. NKJV. A very interesting verse in Isa 43:11 would either startle or bless us!

Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior. Isa 43:11. NKJV.

If the saviours that are being sent are those of the corporate body of Christ & are men how do we
equate the statement ''besides Me there is no savior''? We are ''fearfully and wonderfully made'' many
of us have not yet understood this statement of who we really are, for the truth is He is Us. When we read
now the statement beside me there is no saviour, this really means, that we being the very manifestation
of God then we are the corporate Saviours of the world!

''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before
ordained that we should walk in them.'' Eph 2:10. MKJV.

''For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew]
that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths
which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He
prearranged and made ready for us to live.'' Eph 2:10. Amp.

''For we are God's masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God
prepared long ago to be our way of life''. Eph 2:10. ISV.

We are a hand picked, fearfully & wonderfully made corporate Masterpiece! We as hand picked
masterpieces are not to give intimidation an invitation!

Immortality is the fulfilment of understanding or knowing the truth of our spiritual consciousness,
this is being aware of our true identity, which is not only the image of God, but Deity has implanted into
every man that which makes him completely a Christ. Yes a duplicated Christ, a D.N.A'd copy of the
Christ who not only rose from the dead, but appeared unto man & walked through doors & walls to prove
it. What was one of the main reasons that He did this? To make us aware of our true ''God Imaged''
Identity!

Of those who are reading these words many of us are ''pressing toward the mark for the prize of the
HIGH CALLING of God in Christ''. Paul said ''It is not I, but Christ who lives in me''. This once
fanatical persecuting tyrant Saul - when converted - was not present or ever found again. Why? ''Even
though I live, yet not I but Christ now lives in me.'' Keep well in mind the words, High Calling!

George Hawtin would encourage us thus. ''Elect according to the foreknowledge of God through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, I urge this truth upon you. This kind of identity with
Christ is the true path of Son-ship. Day after day, year after year, the Spirit of God is transforming His
redeemed and translating them into His heavenly kingdom. Remember we have come to Mt Zion''.

''But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and
to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the first-born, which are
written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus
the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of
Abel''. Heb 12:22-24. KJV. Yes, no doubt about it we certainly are, Prisoners of Hope!

The God Of All Nations!

According to Acts 17:26-28, we clearly see that the offspring of Deity is from 'all nations'. We are told
of the poets, prophets & others apart from our Western culture of today that they are also part of the ''all

men'' Jn12;32. Many will no doubt be surprised as to who will make up the corporate man-child
company. The all men will comprise of all nations. Incidentally each & every prophet, sage or guide that
established a truth, when they left this earth body, those that followed their teachings invariably without
fail, added to, took away from or put a fence around the certain truth or truths that were espoused to
become a sect, & made something from it that the original guide or seer never did intend.

Now to try to enlarge our narrow Western understanding we now present to you an extract from the
writings of Joel Goldsmith. ''This is the story of a man by the name of Siddhartha, he had left his home
& family in search of truth & finally found wonderful enlightenment. His father was a great King who
when he was about to die & desiring to see his son, sent for him, asking him to return. When he sat face
to face with his son, he realised that he had lost him in the personal sense of father & son, but tried
nevertheless to reclaim him. He said to him ''I would offer thee my kingdom'', said the King, ''but if I did
you would account it as ashes.'' And Buddha said ''I know that the Kings heart is full of love . . . but let
the ties of love that bind you to the son who you lost, embrace with equal kindness all your fellow-beings,
& you will receive in his place a greater one than Siddhartha: You will receive the Enlightened One, the
Teacher of Truth, the Preacher of Righteousness, & also the Peace of God into your heart''.
Notice that Buddha was saying the love of the enlightened one consisted of treating all men the same
way.
Interestingly Jesus felt exactly the same way, let us look at His statement found in Matthew.

''While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to
speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to
speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my
brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my
brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother,
and sister, and mother.'' Mat 12 46-50. KJV.

''Jesus was still speaking to the people when behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking
to speak to Him. Someone said to Him, Listen! Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside,
seeking to speak to You. But He replied to the man who told Him, Who is My mother, and who are My
brothers? And stretching out His hand toward [not only the twelve disciples but all] His adherents , He
said, Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My
brother and sister and mother!'' Mat.12:46-50. Amplified.

One of the reasons we have written the above is to show that in every age in all nations God has had
Enlightened ones to show the way & as the writer said in Acts 17:28, concerning the ''All Men'' ''For we
are also His offspring''. I must also add, that as most beliefs of the past, the original Buddhism is a far
cry from what we have today, of course there is some truth still there. Man 'all men' the world over
being the ''offspring of God'' has always had within him, in his innermost being that Spirit of truth
which can be accessed perhaps by a quickening, a heavenly visitation, or patient sincerity. Now this
brings us to the coming of Jesus Christ who was God manifest in the flesh. Many would ask if God can
be accessed at any-time why the need for Jesus Christ to appear on the scene? One reason would be that
Jesus was more than those who came before Him, He was the epitome of Godliness, He was God
manifested in the flesh. The other reason is as is written below.

We now begin to look into & understand the story of the 12 tribes of Israel, a race of people who
were so obsessed with their earthly heritage that if one was not of Abraham's natural seed you were
almost nothing. So hoodwinked were they, they thought the promised seed, the Messiah would only
come to the literal seed of Abraham. What was needed was a drastic thump which is what Jesus gave
them in a number of instances especially in Jn 9:30-34. Of course this mindset was not to be broken
easily. So as had been prophesied natural Jerusalem, which represented the type had to be finished once
& for all.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!
How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but
you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not
see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE
LORD!'' Lk 13:34-35. NKJV. I personally believe that this last sentence will take place when the man-
child goes into action!
But to proceed with our thought Jerusalem was completely burned, sacked & ruined. Why? So that
she could never be rebuilt, this is what God thinks of natural Jerusalem, which in this case equates to
what the unconverted Jew or Israelite adheres to spiritually. Sadly there are some who are still
convinced that she is still important, one is the President of America & many others who are sincerely
deceived. When those who have kept the practise of Judaism see the appearing of the blessed corporate
man-child & are then willing to say. ''Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord''. This will
indeed be a wonderful day! Remember we all are, Prisoners of Hope!

To further show that this was no small problem in Paul's experience we read in Galatians.

''Later, however, when Peter came to Antioch I had to oppose him publicly, for he was then plainly
in the wrong. It happened like this. Until the arrival of some of James' companions, he, Peter, was in the
habit of eating his meals with the Gentiles. After they came, he withdrew and ate separately from the
Gentiles - out of sheer fear of what the Jews might think. The other Jewish Christians carried out a
similar piece of deception, and the force of their bad example was so great that even Barnabas was
affected by it. But when I saw that this behaviour was a contradiction of the truth of the Gospel, I said to
Peter so that everyone could hear, "If you, who are a Jew, do not live like a Jew but like a Gentile, why
on earth do you try to make Gentiles live like Jews?" Gal 2:11-14. Phillips.

''There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for
you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs
according to the promise.'' Gal 3:28-29. NKJV.. Who are Abraham's seed? Those who are in Christ!

Listening, Hearing & Finding!

A. B. Simpson was a man of deep spiritual experience. We quote from his article LISTENING.
A score of years ago a friend placed in my hand a book called TRUE PEACE. It was an old medieval
message and it had but one thought ---- that God was waiting in the depth of my being to talk to me if I
would only get still enough to hear His voice. I thought this would be a very easy matter and so began to
get still. I had no sooner commenced than a perfect pandemonium of voices reached my ears, a thousand
clamouring notes from without and within, until I could hear nothing but their noise and din. Some were
my own voices, my own questions; some were my very own prayers. Others were suggestions of the
tempter and the voices from the world of turmoil. In every direction I was pulled and pushed and greeted
with noisy acclamations and unspeakable unrest. It seemed necessary for me to listen to some of them
and to answer some of them; but God said, 'Be still and know that I am God.'
''Then came the conflict of thoughts for tomorrow and its duties and cares; but God said, 'Be still.'
And as I listened and slowly learned to obey and shut my ears to every sound, I found after a while that,
when other voices ceased, (or I ceased to hear them), there was a still small voice in the depths of my
being that began to speak with an inexpressible tenderness and power and comfort. As I listened, it
became it became to me the voice of prayer, the voice of wisdom, the voice of duty, and I did not need to
think so hard or pray so hard or trust so hard. That still small voice of the Holy Spirit in my heart was
God speaking in my secret soul; was God's answer to all knowledge and all prayer and all blessings for it
was the living God Himself as my life, my all''.

Be still! Just now be still!

White are the sandals on His noiseless feet.

It is the comforter whom Jesus sent
To teach thee what the words He uttered meant.
The willing waiting spirit He doth fill;
If thou wouldst hear His message,
Dear soul, be still!

''There are two selves, the higher & the lower self. The higher self is human spirit clothed with soul,
made in the form of God. The lower self, is the carnal self, the body of desires & is a reflection of the
higher self, distorted by the murky ethers of flesh. The lower self is an illusion & will pass away; The
higher self is God in man, and will not pass away. The higher self is the embodiment of truth; the lower
self is truth reversed, and so is falsehood reversed, & so is falsehood manifest. The higher self is justice,
mercy, love & right; the lower self is what the higher self is not.'' This is an excerpt from Page 22 of 'The
Aquarian Gospel'.

Page 49 & 50 ''The Infinite Way'' ''In this same manner, it has been revealed that as there is one Life,
this One is never in danger of sickness, accident, or death. This life is the direct life of individual
being..... We need to always to be alert & never accept any suggestion in thought of any other presence,
power or activity than that of the one life, the one law, the one soul''.

The Rebuilding Of The Temple With Zerubbabel!

Particularly in the books of Ezra & Haggai, we read of a story of a wonderful group of people who kept
the feast of Tabernacles, Ezra 3: 4. God had a selected dedicated people who were particularly elected to
rebuild the temple which had fallen many years previously. This whole story relates directly as a
prophesy & an analogy to us today. We are applying this to today, that original true Temple which has
fallen down, that understanding & realisation of the true temple made without hands, which we are has
been lost to mankind for many, many decades & we have been chosen to help rebuild it. ''Wonderful''.
We read that God had a particular time for this to take place & we are to be encouraged greatly for
the type that it that represents to us today.
Whenever a plan of God begins to take place all sorts of fleshly & traditional opposition will arise
to try to counteract that which our Deity is leading us to see & unveil! Whether it be in a yesteryear or
today.
In the 4th chapter of Ezra we read in verse 1 ''Now when [the Samaritans] the adversaries of Judah
and Benjamin heard that the exiles from the captivity were building a temple to the Lord, the God of
Israel, They came to Zerubbabel [now governor] and to the heads of the fathers' houses and said, Let us
build with you for we seek and worship your God as you do, and we have sacrificed to Him since the days
of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here''. Also found in 2Kings 17: 24-29.

Here we see at that time before the time of Jesus it was a little different than at the present time & the
analogy would have nothing to do with the Samaritans of the present time. If those who are reading this
would take time to read the story in Ezra or Haggai or both you would no doubt receive something that I
would miss & only yourself would see for we all pick up something different as we all have our own
particular aspect to what we read.
Unfortunately years before Nebuchadnezza had taken the city, this all had happened because of
Israel's disobedience. This was all prophesied that all would be restored because God had found an
obedient people who cared. No matter what has happened in the past God will find a way to make a
renewal. Yes we surely are 'Prisoners of Hope'. We need to take notice of the many helpers that God
had prepared both for then & also now! When reading this story we also need to take notice of the many
hiccups that were a part of the restoration, the reason being is what is written in Hag, Chapter 2.

''For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the
heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations and the desire and the
precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of
hosts. The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house
[with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in
this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts''. Hag 2:6-9. Amplified. Also the
following in verse 22 is most relevant!

''And I will [in the distant future] overthrow the throne of kingdoms and I will destroy the strength
of the kingdoms of the [ungodly] nations, and I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them,
and the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword – today meaning the word - of his
brother.'' Hag 2:22. Amplified. And so we are reminded once again that the Prisoners of hope are
always uppermost in the heart of our Deity which is our true innermost identity!

''Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be?
And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD
unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who
art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the
headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also
finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the
day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with
those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.'' Zech 4:5- 10.
KJV.
We also need to keep in mind not by our natural might or power, this great mountain of unbelief
shall become as flat as a plain. As surely as Zerubbabal overcame & not only laid the foundation, he
also finished the temple of his day. We must not despise the day of small things, for as he Zerubbabel
used the plummet, or today we would call it a plumb-bob a tool which was once commonly used by
bricklayers to test the verticality of a brick wall. What is our plummet today? It represents the word
which our Deity is giving us today, either in our spirit or perhaps something by someone who God would
use to share with us! Yes we certainly are prisoners of HOPE!

The Serpent In The Wilderness!

The following is something that I once again run across only recently. It was first published in 1945.
This is the same message that we are espousing with quite a different slant or aspect to what we usually
see promoted but really it is the same message that we have been sharing for some time now. I now
present it for your perusal.
''As Moses lifted up the SERPENT in the wilderness'' Jn 3:14.a. The serpent is symbolic of the
sacred fire of Kundalini, the solar force which curled up as a snake at the base of the spine, lies dormant
in most people, waiting to be awakened. This solar force, this creative power has to be raised up into the
head and heart, under the full control of the Spirit; or through Word (the word of God, which is Love), So
that man becomes not a man of the earth but of eternal life. This is the coming of the Supreme Son, the
Light, the Life, in the form of Christ through Jesus. Although this Light had been demonstrated through
other initiates in the past, there came through Jesus this full manifestation of the Christ Life. The solar
body of Jesus had been brought to perfection; The Christ Light manifested through Him & spoke with
authority saying, ''I am the way, the truth and the Life'' Jn 14:6. That was this solar force, this divine
life in Him, which was speaking, thus the raising by Moses of the serpent in the wilderness was symbolic,
symbolic of the raising of the power of Kundalini, the ''serpent'' power, or the transmutation of the
creative force of the body from the lower centres to the heart and to the head.
In the Age of Aquarius into which we are now advancing, there will come to earth a great baptism of
the spiritual Sun, there will come a great stimulation of the holy, the divine fire, the Christ spirit in the

heart of all peoples. You may say it is a long way ahead. You cannot be sure. We cannot; we do not
know, but we do know the spiritual laws which govern life. We know that the law is for the serpent fire
gradually to rise and illumine man's mind and his heart. We know that man's heart will then be filled with
kindness, with love for God and his fellow creatures!'' Please remember. this was published in 1945.

''Time never was when man was not, that which begins will have an end. If man was not, the time
will come when he will not exist.
The ethers all became more dense, and all the creatures of these planes were clothed with coarser
garbs, the garbs of flesh, which men can see; and thus this coarser manifest, which men call physical
appeared. Gen 3:21. This is what is called the form of man; and man fell not alone, for protoplast, and
earth, and plant and beast were all included in the fall. The angels and the Cherubim fell not; their will
were ever strong, and so they held the ethers of their planes in harmony with God''. Here we are quoting
direct from the, Aquarian Gospel.

We have touched on this above subject prior to this & shown that in Gen 3 we read ''For Adam also
and for his wife the Lord God made long coats (tunics) of skins and clothed them''. Gen 3:21. Amp. In
short their soulical body was literally clothed with a fleshly one. We must realise the first three chapters
of Genesis are an analogy, & for those who would to try to work it out chronologically or literally we will
certainly have our work cut out because it will not fit. There is also much that we do not yet completely
understand. Here again in the verses below we read the true message written many years ago.

''In yonder kingdom of the soul, this carnal evolution is not known, – or experienced – and the great
work of masterminds is to restore the heritage of man, to bring him back to his estate that he has lost, -
through no fault of his own - when he again will live upon the ethers of his native plane.''
''God never made a heaven for man; He never made a hell, we are creators and we make our own.
Now to seek for your heaven in the sky; just open the windows of your hearts, and like a flood of light, a
heaven will come; and bring a boundless joy; then toil will be no cruel task.''
The veil that separates the worlds is but an ether veil. For those who purify their hearts by faith the
veil is rolled aside, and they can see & know that death is an illusive thing.''
There are a multitude of things yet to be said; things that this age cannot receive, because it cannot
comprehend, but lo I say before the great day of the Lord shall come, the Holy Breath will make all
mysteries known''. These words were printed in 1907, they are a part of many of the group of sensitive
forerunners who paved the way for us in the early 1900s.

How Highly Should We Regard Our Spiritual Identity!

''How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are
poured out in the top of every street. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they
esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!'' Lam 4:1. KJV.
Even though many would regard us as merely earthen vessels I am convinced that we should regard
ourselves in our high identity & behave ourselves accordingly.

''And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly
declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a
man spares his own son who serves him. Then shall you return and discern between the righteous and
the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him''. Mal 3:17-18. Amplified.
Then shall you return & discern, who would this be referring to? None other than the Man-child!

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good
tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And
the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And
the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To

give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be
glorified." And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they
shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.'' Isa 61:1-4. NKJV.

For many centuries, attention has been centred on Jesus Christ as the Saviour of man, & during these
centuries the spiritual sense of life has fluctuated from one extreme to the other. This is because they
were missing the whole personal point & that is not only did Jesus tell us ''I am the way'' but the truth
many of us have sadly missed is that we were also told is ''As I was in the world so are you'' ''Father I
would that as we are one that they also may be one''. These words were written that we would in time
all realise that we are not only ''Lights of the world'' but also Saviours, Yes God Himself in the flesh
''The temple made without hands'' if you please! As a matter of fact men have always been GODS, &
Saviours & not realised it. Jn 10:34. Ps 82:6. Obad 1:21. We are given a wonderful clue in Ps 82 by
writers who I believe did not yet realise what they were writing. ''I said, You are gods [since you judge
on my behalf, as My representatives]; indeed, all of you are CHILDREN of the Most High''. Ps 82:6.
Amp.

Why are we writing like this? It is to stir up the truth that is in each & every one of us, yes in every
man. We could as in our earlier writings go deeper into subjects & tickle many ears perhaps, but we now
realise that this is most unimportant as compared to the stirring of our spirits to know that deep within
every one of us is the reality of he who is ''caught up unto God and His throne.'' Rev 12:5. As we have

How high should we regard our spiritual Identity? As High as God has given us permission to go
& that is we are made in the ''Image Of God!'' Would that be HIGH ENOUGH?

seeker must remember that he has not yet attained, that what he believed to be the full realisation of
