How does the sun affect activities of living
things?

1. Telling time
Before watches and clocks were
invented, people depend on sunlight to
tell time and this is called Sundial
Time.
2. Physical and outdoor Activities
Peoples outdoor activities are
influenced by the sun.

3. Animal Adaptation and Response

Animals have different behavior. They

environment. A stimulus is a change in

become stimulus. The cats movement
is the response. Heat makes animals
move to cold places.
