2. The assignment must be original, well researched and of publishable quality. We highly

3. The submitted assignment should not be of less than the minimum word requirement i.e.
1500 words. However, there is no maximum word limit. Assignments falling short of this
requirement shall be marked zero (0).
4. Your assignment should be submitted only as Microsoft Word documents, i.e., filenames
having .doc and .docx. The software shall not accept any other formats.
8. Upon successful submission of a document the software would automatically scan the
assignment for plagiarism and the plagiarism percentage would be instantly declared. The software
shall also provide you with an in-depth plagiarism report, please see the results tab to access the
same.
9. Submissions having high plagiarism, i.e. more than 30% unoriginal content, irrespective of
whether source of plagiarism is given or not, will be summarily rejected. It may also lead to
cancellation of your candidature for the Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration And Business
Laws. Hence, make sure that you do not quote extensively so as to breach this requirement. Make
sure to write the articles in your own language and expression. Bibliography is not required. If you
copy any particular case law do not copy it whole, you may only use the relevant extracts to avoid
plagiarism detection.
10. Upon detection of high plagiarism, i.e. more than 30% unoriginal content, the software shall
show you the number of available resubmissions and would also specify the final date. You shall
be required to make the resubmission before the final date according to such specification.
11. Resubmissions shall be allowed for a maximum of three times (excluding the first
submission). Resubmissions shall be allowed in the grace period, however, penalty would also be
applicable as provided in Rule 12. Upon detection of plagiarism even in the final resubmission, you
shall be reallocated the same topic in the following month, as provided in Rule 14.
12. If you fail to make your submission within the last date of assignment, you shall be provided
a grace period of five (5) days within which you would be allowed to submit. However, availing
grace period invites a penalty of One (1) mark per day, subject to a maximum deduction of Five (5)
marks. After expiry of grace period you shall not be able to submit your assignment.
13. If your submission is not submitted within the due time or if you have failed the plagiarism
requirement your submission would be marked zero (0).
14. If you have thus failed in making a submission or had high plagiarism detected in your
submission, you shall NOT be allocated a new assignment topic in the following month. You shall be
required to work on the same topic again.
15. The assignments would carry 15 marks each. 10 assignment topics will be allotted to you in
this year-long course. Finally, the sum total of all assignment scores will be taken and scored out of
150.
16. There would be one Drafting exercise before your final assessment test. You will be able to
download the same from the Assignment Software and submit that within the specified time that is
twelve days. This will carry 50 marks.
17. You are free to publish articles authored by you as part of the assessment system of the
Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration And Business Laws course in any website or blog or in
any other place of your choice. Please note that it must be clearly specified in the text of all such
articles that they have been authored by you while pursuing the Diploma in Entrepreneurship
Administration And Business Laws. For example, you could write the following line, either at the
beginning or at the end of the article:

18. In the absence of such notice being published along with your article, if there is any allegation
of plagiarism, unauthorized copying or even self-plagiarism (i.e. not creating fresh and original work
each time you are assigned a new topic but submitting pre-existing work of your own), you may be
show-caused by the university. If you are unable to provide adequate explanation for the same, it may
put your candidature and certification in jeopardy.
