Jenny Letter of Rec Revised
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Jenny Sysangvane. Jenny taught
at Walter Elementary School as a Long Term Substitute in two of our Kindergarten classrooms
from October 2017 to January 2018 and as a Reading Intervention Teacher from February 2018
to the present. I have had the opportunity to work closely with Ms. Sysangvane during this time,
and I feel that she would make a great addition to any school staff.
Jenny has an obvious love for students and teaching. She has an excellent rapport with her
students, and it is clear that they feel supported and safe in her classroom environment.
Jenny’s classroom management is both positive and effective. Her students are learning daily,
and they are happy doing so. Jenny is enthusiastic and effective, and her students are
constantly engaged in her well-planned lessons.
Ms. Sysangvane understands curriculum and Common Core State Standards, uses technology
in her instruction, and takes opportunities to grow as an educator. During her time here, Jenny
has been an active participant in grade-level data dialogues and confidently uses her data to
plan interventions for her students and to communicate with other teachers. She has also
effectively communicated student strengths and needs to parents at parent conferences. Ms.
Sysangvane uses our district’s adopted CCSS ELA curriculum and all of its technology pieces,
and she collaborates with her colleagues to support all of her students’ needs.
I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Jenny Sysangvane for a teaching position in your school
district. Her passion for educating children, her ability to determine and creatively meet the
needs of her students, and her ability and skill in collaborating with her colleagues and
supporting school programs set her apart as an excellent candidate for a teaching position.
Thank you,
Tracy Milbourn
