    INSTITUTE FOR VISUALLY HANDICAPPED

    A visually impaired child will typically learn about the world in a different way
    from a child without a visual impairment. Hence for such children to prosper and
    humankind to flourish, we need a new kind of academic environment and setting.

    This Institute will be working on Personal bearing and conduct of visually


    handicapped children. To prepare them address challenges of life with more zeal
    and independence, it is not enough to work hard to achieve academic and
    curricular goals but needs more comprehensive approach. This can be
    encouraged by special projects in arts and crafts such as ceramics and pottery,
    carpentry and woodwork, mosaic, handloom and weaving, drama, yoga, and
    a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, environmental science and
    entrepreneurial learning skills etc. This is the core philosophy why and how this
    school will educate.

    The campus will be designed in an ecofriendly way which offers an inspiring


    working environment where learning doesnt stop at the classrooms. A campus
    will be designed in a way to ignite the sense and natural curiosity of children.

    A sustainable approach towards life by creating minimal waste and students


    can create an organic garden as a part of learning activities (Urban farming).
    This will help connecting visually handicapped children with nature in this busy
    world. Education for sustainability through community integrated,
    entrepreneurial learning in inspiring environment. The most important change
    that can lead to a sustainable lifestyle is a change in our mindset and habit
    patterns.

    The goal is to cultivate physical sensibilities in visually handicapped children that


    will enable them to adapt and be capable in the outside world. To make them
    critical and creative thinkers.

    The values of integration can be inculcated by congregation of abled and


    differently abled at a same platform.
    Vision is to educate young leaders in global citizenship and inspire the abled.
