TP Task 3 Planning for Learning

This task is linked to EPR3703: instructional strategies and planning for


assessment. It asks you to take on an active role in planning and preparing for
active learning environment. This task requires you to meet with your MST, and
through his/her guidance, plan a weekly plan using the school template. Evidence
of implementation of this plan is also required (added to blog with a reflection).
What is the planning Preparation Practice Reflection
cycle?
Plan a weekly plan with your MST
Choose 1 subject and diagram the planning cycle that tasks place in your school
setting.

Preparation:

1- I greet my mentor.
2- Ask her about the next class I should teach.
3- She will display the teacher book and show me the lesson.
4- She will explain the LO of the lesson and how can I deliver it to the
students.
5- She will sometimes give me some examples on how to use some activities,
like videos, saying that she noticed that using videos to teach her students
is so effective in both engaging them and to make delivering the lesson
easier.
6- She sometimes focuses on classroom management and told me some
strategies to use like the stars board for both individual and group work.

Practice:

LO:
1. Recognize the (Transformation) term.
2. Classify between the two types of Transformation (Full and Incomplete).

Materials:
1- One lesson plan.
2- One star board for managing behavior
3- PowerPoint.
4- 4 videos.
5- laptop.
6- Data show.
7- Worksheets.

Reflection:

I have a lesson plan that I made after talking with both MST and Miss Laila. This
lesson plan has 6 activities and each one of them serve my LO and help to
engage students in my class.
Moreover, I had used her stars board to manage students behavior which show
much effective in letting me deliver my lesson smoothly.

Include photographic evidence of the implementation of the activities in your


blog. Record the learning outcome, and reflections.
