It helps the students to understand what is the audio about and answer the worksheet correctly

4a. How many times did the learners listen to the text / recording? Twice
b. Would it have increased their understanding if they had been allowed to listen to the
text/recording again? Yes it helps a lot because the students cant listen to everything from
the first time.
c. Did the learners hear the whole text at once, or in parts?
If so, which was the most helpful?
The learners listened to whole text twice and I think if it was in parts could it be more helpful
so the learners can listen carefully, but the other way wasnt that bad because at some point the students
will have to listen to whole text once and this will help them in the future.

Reflection

Think about the advantages and disadvantages of using the model of pre-, while- and post-listening
activities to teach a listening lesson. Write first from the perspective of the teacher and then from the
perspective of the learners.
First the advantages are that the students will be able to understand more about the topics and be good
in guessing also they will have high concentration also it will improve their vocab in writing, but the
disadvantages are the students may lose the concentration at some point or feel bored with long texts
and for the teacher she will be able to activate the students knowledge also activating their vocab, so the
students will do better if they know the important things
The disadvantages are it might hard on the teacher to get all the students attention without losing some
students attention and sometimes the topics are unfamiliar for the students which will make the teacher
suffer with the students while explaining.
