Air Castle

Juan F. Salazar

SUMMARY:

The poem is all about our dreams and desires that we will go through as we find our real
purpose in life. We are all prone to failures because we are only human beings and we are made from
imperfection.
This poem shows the importance of having ambition in life, our path towards success, the life
we want to be. We are all bound to dream because saying goes Dream because its free. Our ability
to dream drives us to work hard and surpass our limits as a human. This poem teaches us not to let fear
or insecurity stop us from trying new things.
At the end of the day, we must always love what we are doing and be dedicated to achieve a
difference.

Interpretation:

An individuals journey to life is a big challenge, he foresees his future as something ceaseless
and while he is bothered by his high ambitions, those aspirations became his guide in facing lifes
trials that will come in his life.

He longs to be as good as William Shakespeare whos great and well-known for his crafts. He
has a reason to persevere hard because he know he is too far to where Shakespeare is now but like
Shakespeares dedication to his work, he is motivated to try and follow what Shakespeare has
achieved.

The reality is that dreams and ambitions are difficult to achieve, but what matters is when you
see things done with an accomplishment. And even if those dreams and ambitions stay as just dreams,
he would work harder until it turns into reality.

Moral Lesson:

We have a lot of dreams and ambitions and we desire to be better every day, the ups and downs
are all a part of building our life, our future and the lesson is we must act and do our best to achieve
our dreams, if we became contented to where are we now, our lives will be useless.
