    ADMISSION NOTICE FOR FOUR-YEAR B.TECH. PROGRAMMES


    (Approved by the AICTE)
    Academic Session: 2017-2018
    Online Applications are invited from eligible intending candidates for admission into the
    following Four Year B.Tech Programmes offered by the Dibrugarh University Institute of
    Engineering and Technology (DUIET)

    Computer Science & Engineering


    Electronics & Communication Engineering
    Mechanical Engineering
    Petroleum Engineering

    Eligibility:
    1. The candidate must be a citizen of India with a permanent resident certificate of
    Assam (Not applicable for JEE-2017 (Mains)
    2. For admission into the B.Tech Progrmmes the Candidate must pass the Qualifying
    Examination individually in the same attempt without any Grace Mark in the
    subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and with minimum of 50% (45% in
    case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry,
    Mathematics.
    3. The candidate must appear in the Entrance Examination for admission CEE-2017
    (Engineering) or JEE-2017 (Mains) score
    4. The candidate must not above 21 years or below 17 years of age on 1st August,
    2017. Upper age limit mentioned in (4) above is relaxed to 22 years in case of
    B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit mentioned in (4) above is relaxed to 3
    years for SC/ST candidates
    5. The Candidates must possess a good moral character
    6. The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
    Lateral Entry:

    The date of Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry to the 3rd Semester classes for the
    B.Tech Programmes mentioned above shall be available in the website www.dibru.ac.in in due
    course.

    Interested candidate should register for DUIET Admission-2017 by applying in the


    prescribed online application form at www.dibru.online Application fee is Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees
    One Thousand) only, which shall have to be paid online.

    Schedule for applying online:

    Online registration shall be started on: 19th June, 2017


    Online registration shall be closed on: 15th July, 2017

    How to Apply:
    The intending candidates need to apply online through the Online Application Submission portal
    of Dibrugarh University which is available at www.dibru.online from 19.06.2017. The application
    fee of Rs.1000/- needs to be paid at the time of applying online through Debit Card/Credit
    Card/Internet Banking. On successful submission of the Application, an Acknowledgement Slip
    with SUCCESS status will be generated. Candidates are advised to download and print the
    Acknowledgement Slip along with the submitted Application Form for future reference. The step
    by step instruction of the Application Process is available on the homepage of the Online
    Application Submission portal.

    1. Passport Size Photograph


    2. Scanned Signature
