Transfer to your hotel in Killarney, travelling via Bunratty Castle where
breakfast will be arranged at a nearby hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Folk Park set in 26 acres featuring various types of
farmhouses, a church, walled garden and village street with pub, post office
& shops, depicting life in Ireland during the 19 th century.
Travel onwards to Killarney via the Shannon estuary, stopping at Foynes
Flying Boat museum. The museum recalls the era when the Pan Am
Clipper’s used to fly transatlantic between 1939 and 1945 and where chef
Joe Sheridan made the first Irish coffee to warm up some damp & miserable
passengers in 1942.
Following the visit, depart for Killarney and after checking into your hotel, the
remainder of the day is free to relax. Why not visit Killarney National Park,
whose focal point is the 19th century mansion, Muckross House & Gardens,
or wander around the quaint shops.

Travel to Blarney Castle, famous for its stone which has, according to
legend, the power of conferring eloquence upon all who kiss it.
Take time to visit Blarney Woollen Mills which offers excellent Irish made
products.
Travel to Cobh, from where hundreds of thousands of mostly hungry and
penniless Irish men and women left to build a new life, especially in the
Famine years of 1844-48 and was the final port of call on the ill fated
Titanic’s maiden voyage.
Travel via the picturesque village of Adare to Dromoland Castle.
In the evening take the short trip to Bunratty Castle for a medieval banquet,
where you will be dined & entertained.

This morning, drive north to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, stopping at the
Visitor’s Centre where you will see the Atlantic Edge Exhibition which brings
to life the story of the Cliffs.
Continue along the coast into the unique landscape of The Burren, an area
composed of limestone hills that is home to many rare flowers as well as the
Poulnabrone Dolmen and the Ailwee Caves, Ireland’s largest cave complex.
