5.7 ODVODNJAVANJE
1. OPTI PREGLED
Autoput Bar Boljare je dio putnog pravca Beograd Juni Jadran, koji ini krak
trans-evropske magistrale. Autoput Podgorica Mateevo, na dionici Smokovac -Uva-
Mateevo, dio je autoputa Boljare Podgorica Bar, koji se od granice sa Srbijom kree
pravcem Berane Andrijevica Mateevo Podgorica, tunelom ispod masiva Sozine i
izbija na jadransku obalu, odnosno luku Bar. U sastavu je putnih pravaca E-80 i E-65. i po
svom znaaju prelazi lokalne okvire. Ukupna duina trase je oko 41,050 km.
Idejni projekat odvodnjavanja, kao sastavni dio Idejnog projekta autoputa Bar
Boljare, dionica Smokovac-Uva-Mataevo radjen je u dvije dionice. Prva dionica je
Smokovac-Uva, uradjena od strane projektantske kue CPV-Novi Sad, duine 31,9 km ,
a druga je dionica Uva-Mataevo, duine 9,15 km, projektovana od strane projektantske
kue IGH-Zagreb.

cjevovode obje strane autoputa. Tehniko rjeenje za odvodjenje vode sa kolovoza
definisano je uvijek izmedju dva tunela.
Na djelovima autoputa gdje kolovozne trake razdvaja zajedniki zeleni pojas predvien je
kanalizacioni kolektor za obje trake u zelenom pojasu.
Na djelovima trase autoputa gdje se kolovozne trake razdvajaju i vode paralelno na osnoj
udaljenosti od tridesetak i vie metara predvieno je da se kanalizacioni kolektori vode
dvostrano tj. zasebno za svaku traku u unutranjim bankinama autoputa.

Lokacije separatora izabrane su tako da se ne transportuje velika koliina atmosferskih
voda kroz tunele.

Vodu sa kolovoza odvesti putem plastinih cijevi (PP, PEHD, PEST...) i ahtova
do separatora, gdje se vri preiavanje zaprljanih voda. S obzirom da se
zahtijeva nepropustan i kontrolisan sistem odvodnje, obratiti panju kod izbora
materijala za objekte projektovane kanalizacije (cijevi, slivnici, ahtovi....). Ovo je
naroito bitno u dionici koja zadire u nacinalni park Tara.
Ukoliko u Glavnom projektu dodje do izmjena trase puta, kolektora ili promjene
rjeenja u odnosu na Idejni projekat, izvriti provjeru hidraulikog prorauna u cilju
dimenzionisanja elemenata za prikupljanje i odvoenje atmosferskih voda. Ovo se
naroito odnosi na dionicu Uva-Mateevo, gdje je proraun radjen za dvogodinju
vodu, koja nije mjerodavna za dimenzionisanje objekata odvodnje na
autoputevima.

5.7 DRAINAGE

1. GENERAL
The Bar Boljare Highway is part of the longer Belgrade-South Adriatic stretch of
the Trans-European transport corridor. Highway Podgorica Matesevo, with its section
Smokovac-Uvac-Matesevo, forms part of the highway Boljare Podgorica Bar, which
after the Serbian border runs in direction Berane Andrijevica Matesevo Podgorica,
passes through the Sozina Tunnel and continues to the Seaport Bar on the Adriatic
Coast. It is integrated in the road routes E-80 and E-65 and its importance is far more
than local. Total length of the route is approximately 41,050 km.
The highway route does not endanger any cultural heritage, causes no changes and does
not compromise its integrity. Larger portion of the route Uvac-Matesevo runs through the
valley of Tara river.
The Preliminary Design of Drainage included hydro-technical analysis for the purpose of:
efficient drainage of surface water from the carriageway and storm-waters from the
surrounding terrain, and
protection of rivers and streams from pollution caused by pollutants carried in the
storm water run offs.
A channel closed system is used for the carriageway pavement drainage. The system
diverts the water into separators where water is subject to treatment and thereafter
discharged to the environment.
In case of section Smokovac-Uvac, the pavement water run offs are collected by
the kerb inlet - gutter - manhole system. Catch pits are installed in the kerb inlets,
connected to proper manholes which are located in the shoulder adjacent to the inlets.

The system assumes that each gutter has a corresponding manhole, hence main
direction of the collecting pipe for drainage of waste waters is located in the shoulder next
to the road (between the kerb inlet and channel for storm water) - serving both sides of
the highway. The water from collecting pipe runs into the separator for treatment, after
which it can be easily evacuated into some natural recipient or down the terrain. One
separator is intended to serve as common separator for pipelines of both sides of the
highway. Technical solution for the carriageway pavement drainage is always defined
between two tunnels.
Water from the bridges is evacuated by closed drainage system and not by gullies
with free outlet.
Hydraulic calculation and route of the piping for the tunnel infiltrating and excessive
water have not been subject of consideration of this Preliminary Design for drainage of
the section concerned, but are considered in a separate Tunnel Design. Tunnel water run
offs are collected by means of one manhole at the tunnel exit at either side of the tunnel,
wherefrom it is taken to a special manhole located in the carriageway pavement, and then
piping takes the water to the proper recipient.
Pavement water runoffs were taken into standard pre-cast separators. There were 25
such separators on this section.
Culverts, as drainage structures, are presented with their location and dimensions s
obtained from the hydraulic calculation.
Open concrete channels adjacent to the highway are designed to collect storm
water. The channels are also provided in the cuts, where the catchment areas were
believed to be large, so construction of channels there would relieve the channels
adjacent to the highway. Additionally, the channels are provided at the embankment toes
up to the location of the culvert, to enable better directing and channelling of water by the
slope. Each concrete channel which ends by culvert runs into the box culvert with grating.
Where the lanes of the carriageway are divided by the green median barrier, the collector
main is foreseen in the median barrier for both.

In the parts of the route where carriageway lanes are divided and run parallel at the
distance from the axis of 30m and more, it is foreseen that collector mains should be
located on both sides, that is one per either lane in the inner shoulders of the highway.
Size of catchment areas and locations of separators are not primarily defined by the water
quantity running into separator, but mostly by the topography of the terrain.
The locations of the separators are selected in a way to avoid large quantities of storm
water to be transported through the tunnels.
Triangular concrete channel kerbs adjacent to the pavement are planned for collection of
the carriageway water run offs in embankments and cuts. The channel kerbs should be
located on either side adjacent to the median barrier and outer pavement edge.
On higher side of the carriageway lane towards which the storm water runs, a kerb is
provided with gutters equipped with a linear grating cover.
After large dirt and debris particles are trapped in the gutters, the collected water is
drained to the inspection manholes and by collector mains to the water treatment plants.
Purpose and objective of the Main Design of Drainage is to define and thoroughly
elaborate an optimal solution of the drainage route and structure, based on the solutions
provided in the Preliminary Design. The Main Design is a guidance document for
execution of works.
Scope of the Design of drainage of surface water, storm water and groundwater for the
Bar-Boljare Highway, Section Smokovac-Uvac- Matesevo comprised the following:

designed section to be drained is 41050m.
Pavement water run offs should be drained by a closed drainage system, installed
for either direction of the highway.
Pavement water run offs are drained through plastic pipes ( PP, PEHD, PEST....)
and manholes to separators, where waste waters are treated. As an waterproof
and controlled drainage system is required, consideration should be paid to the
selection of material for the designed drainage system (pipes, gutters,
manholes...). This is especially important in case of the section which passes
through the Tara National Park.
In case of any changes in the Main Design with a view to the road route, collector
main or any change compared to the Preliminary Design, the hydraulic calculation
shall be verified for the purpose of dimensioning of structures for collection and
drainage of storm water. This refers in particular to the section Uvac-Matesevo,
where the calculation is made for the two-year water which is not a critical
parameter for designing of the drainage structures on highways.

design if there are no available recent data on the intensity-duration-frequency
curves for the area concerned.
When verifying the hydraulic calculation, it should be careful that the maximum
flow rate in pipes is not more than 6 m/s and that the water volume in the pipe
does not exceed 75% of the pipe profile capacity. Design rainfall used in
calculation for dimensioning of the highway drainage system is the rainfall with
return period of 10 years.

Covers of manholes which are located in the carriageway pavement (shoulders)
shall be nodular in accordance with the standard, class D400, for loads of 400kN,
while covers of manholes located off the carriageway pavement, in the green
median barrier should support loads of 250 kN. Each manhole shall have concrete
ring to enable safe installation. Bearing capacity of the cover shall be compliant
with the defined traffic load. The covers shall be equipped with locking system.
Structural calculation for manholes shall be provided.
Water run offs from bridges and viaducts shall be evacuated by closed piping
system, and not through gullies with free outlets. Diameters of pipes o bridges
should be of minimum size. The bridge pipeline system shall be constructed of the
centrifugally cast polyester pipes to enable high resistance to atmospheric impact
and dynamic loads.
Open concrete or lined channels should be designed for collection of the storm
water.
Layout plan of the route and geometry of channels for collection of storm water will
shall be defined in the design of the highway route. Dimension of channels shall be
verified against the hydraulic calculation.
Run-off coefficients for catchment areas shall be adopted from the Preliminary
Design of Drainage, if there are no available precise data on the terrains through
which the route passes.
Treatment of the pavement waste water run offs shall be managed by installation
of pre-cast separators. Dimensions of separators should be defined based on the
received water quantities. Separators shall be defined according to the effective

European standards MEST EN858-1. Quality of water leaving the separator shall
be of class 1 (less than 5 mg/l of pollutant content).
In the course of designing, the Designer shall cooperate with the Employer and all
competent organisations and institutions of interest for development of the
designed solutions.

Rezervoar se postavi na visinu od 4 m iznad temena cevi. Kanal se puni
vodom, a u rezervoaru se uspostavi potreban nivo vode. Dolivanjem potrebne
koliine vode u rezervoar odrava se konstantan nivo. Koliina vode koja se

1. Propusna mo kanala
Odvodnjavanje povrinskih pribrenih voda predvieni su otvoreni betonski kanali trapeznog oblika.
Dimenzije kanala su: irina u dnu 0,5m, dubina 0,5m, strane u nagibu 1:1.
Punjenje kanala je dozvoljeno do dubine od 40cm, dakle 10cm plie od ukupne dubine kanala.
Na osnovu ove geometrije, izraunati su elementi za hidrauliki proraun propusne moi kanala.
U ovu svrhu je koriena ezi-Maningova jednaina:

Proticaji koji se javljaju u kanalima su izraunati na osnovu merodavne kie trajanja 10 minuta, verovatnoe pojave jednom u 10 godina,
dobijene hidrolokom analizom podataka sa kiomerne stanice Bioe. Podaci o povrinama slivova koji gravitiraju konkretnim kanalima su
dobijeni iz topografskih karata predmetnog podruja.
