I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the class the students should be able to:
Discuss what is personal protective equipment and when will it be applied.
Appreciate the importance of personal protective equipment by means of how
to use it.
Write down the personal protective equipment in the work place.
B. ANALYSIS
Teacher: answer the question that follows
1. What is personal protective equipment?
2. When will the personal protective equipment be applied?

C. ABSTRACTION
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
When there are no other practical control measures available (as a last
resort)
As an interim measure until a more effective way of controlling the risk
can be used, or
To supplement higher level control measures (as a back-up).
D. APPLICATION
Teacher: To measure your understandings, in 1 whole sheet of paper write down
the importance of personal protective equipment.
(The students will answer and the teacher will collect the papers afterwards)
IV. EVALUATION
List down at least five different personal protective equipment and write the use of it.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Give the (5) major part of the Lathe Machine
