    WORLD CUP

    The soccer, described like passion of multitudes, has reached a spectacular


    diffusion in all the corners of the world, in spite of the social, cultural distances or
    economic, thousands of individuals enjoy and undergo every week by their favorite
    colors. To the players, protagonists of the spectacle, were called on the paper to
    leave everything to them by love to the t-shirt.

    The World Cup is the climax of the soccer events anywhere in the world. On May
    26 of 1928, the Congress of the Federation the International of Associated Soccer,
    (FIFA), located in Amsterdam, decided, to organize a competition (the World Cup)
    of all the affiliated nations. The first World Cup was celebrated in Montevideo, on
    July 1930, then was difficult to imagine that someday this competition would
    happen to be the greatest sport festival.

    The World Cup organized by the FIFA, have been increasing the number of
    participant countries with the passage of the years, initiating with 13 countries in
    the world cup one of 1930, to 24 in 1982 and now to 32 participant countries. In
    addition, esteem that 200 million men, women and children practice.

    Of the resultants points of the history of the World Cup we have like country that is
    been present in all the final phases from 1930, to Brazil, with a total of 15 times.
    Also it is possible to stand out that the Brazilians have gained 49 of the 73 played
    parties.

    Between outstanding personages she is Fontaine, French who has the record of
    more goals marked during a final phase, obtained in the world-wide one of Sweden
    in 1958. And Edson Arantes do Nascimento, Brazilian, known anywhere in the
    world like Pel, the player who have participated and won in three World Cup,
    1958, 1962 and 1970, Diego Armando Maradona, the Argentinean-Spanish Alfredo
    Di Stfano and the Dutch Joahyn Cruyff. Today, another Brazilian, Ronaldo,
    already are mentioned like the successor of Pel and star of century XXI
