criteria 1 to 5 of IEC 62271-200: 2003-11.

4.4 Test arrangement

The test was carried out in a room mock-up. The switchgear comprised three units and was
arranged with the left side wall of unit 1 having a distance of 100 mm and the rear wall having a
distance of 800 mm to the corner of the room mock-up, covering the gap between switchgear
and test bay wall. The front and right roof projection was 1000 mm.
Power was supplied to the cable terminal of unit 1.
Fabric indicators representing accessibility type A were placed vertically in front of the operator's
side and of the right side wall and behind the switchgear up to a height of 2 m in a uniform
checkerboard pattern, covering an area of 40-50 %. The spacing between indicators and
switchgear was 300 mm. Horizontally arranged fabric indicators representing accessibility type A
were placed at a height of 2 m above the floor in the region between 300 mm and 800 mm in
front of the operator's side, of the right side wall and behind the switchgear in a uniform
checkerboard pattern, covering an area of 40-50 %.
