he Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Pragati Engineering
College is fully Equipped with state of art laboratories and its faculties consists of

ABOUT THE ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATION:
ssociation of EEE is organizing national level technical event EXULT. The
national level technical symposium has events like paper presentations, quiz
competitions, project model displays and poster presentations from various
engineering colleges. We have been organizing EXULT for last seven years.
Eminent personalities from various colleges and Universities are invited to act as Judges and
made it a grand success.
The main aim of this symposium is to highlight the current status and emerging
trends of technology in various topics towards the betterment of industrial research and IT
fields. It will be a great opportunity for students to exchange their experiences through
innovative ideas and make them acquired with latest technological trends.

EVENTS:
INDUSTRIAL VISIT:
The III years students of 2014 admitted batch has visited Andhra Pradesh Gas Power
Corporation Ltd., (APGPCL) Vijjeswaram Power Plant on 17th,18th August 2016.The visit
to the plant was proceeded accordingly on 17.08.2016 with 70 students of III B.tech I sem
Sec-A as first batch of EEE students accompanying with two Assistant Profesors of EEE
Department Mr. S.M.Shariff and Ms.K.Geetha .Sri.N. Suryanarayana Assistant Engineer
of the Power plant along with two maintenance engineers explained the plant details.
The second batch of EEE students of III B.tech I sem Sec-B accompanied by two Assistant
professors of EEE Department Mr. S.Ashokreddy and Ms. A.Durga Bhavani have visited
the plant on 18.06.2016 and were explained the details of the plant by assistant engineer with
other two maintenance engineers.

FRESHERS DAY:
Present II EEE (2015-19) Students organized freshers
fest to their Juniors (2016-20 Batch) with a warm welcome
on 22.09.2016 at Seminar Hall-I of the college.The day is
started with cultural events organized by II EEE to I EEE
Students at 1:00 P.M and finished at 3:00P.M. Dr.
S.Sambhu Prasad, Principal, Dr. K.Satyanarayana, Vice-
Principal & H.O.D-EEE, Dr.G.Naresh, Professor of EEE, Sri.S.M.Shariff, Assoc.Professor of
EEE and faculty of EEE department have attended the function and gave their Valuable
Suggestions to I B.Tech EEE Students and wished them to have a bright academic future. On
this occasion around 250 students from II & I EEE have participated. The session was
completed after distribution of gifts to I EEE Students by Chief Guest and Guests of honors
of the function at 3:30 P.M..

CONSTITUTION DAY
Indian Constitution Day is being celebrated on 26.11.2016 on the eve of 125 th Birth
Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar for his ideas to form the constitution in India. On this
Occasion, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering took preamble from all the
staff and Students of EEE.
PREAMBLE:
We, The People Of India, having Solemnly Resolved To Constitute India in to a sovereign
socialist secular democratic republic and to secure to all its citizens.
Justice, social, economic and political. Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and
worship. equality of status and of opportunity and to promote among them all. Fraternity
assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation. In our
constituent assembly this twenty-sixth day of november, 1949, do hereby adopt, enact and gice to
ourselves this constitution.
On this occasion, Elocution competition for II, III and IV year students were conducted. The
topic for Elocution competition is The features of Supreme Law of Indian Constitution.
