PRACTICAL

SYNTHETIC MATERIALS ADVERSELY AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT

INTRODUCTION

All living organism depend upon their environment for three ' survival eessentials'.The
are a supply of food, shelter and a breeding site . All human activities, both industrial and
non industrial affect also lead to pollution and impact the human health and wellbeing.
The term pesticides cover a wide range compounds including insecticides,
fungicides, herbicides etc. Among these, organic chlorine (oc) insecticides, used
successfully in controlling a number of diseases, such as malaria and Typhus, were
banned or restricted after the 1960's is most of the technologically advanced countries.
Most of the cleaning products are formulated to be used with water and go down the
drain into waste treatment systems. To assure the products are safe for environment
manufacture as evaluate the impacts of product ingredients in waste water treatment
system.
METHODOLOGY

The method adopted for the study is survey method. Both the data have been made for
this work environment due to the use of synthetic materials in the contemporary society.
It study lead by the use of pesticides are to control the insects and thus increase the
agriculture production has had very serious side effects on wildlife and man.Synthetic
fertilizers are damage the natural make up of soil in the long term. Synthetic fertilizers kill
beneficial microorganisms in the soil that convert rich organic matter. The synthetic
products also require high energy for their production and creation of this energy further
contribute to environmental pressures.
RESULTS

The study was mainly concentrated on all members of the family for detailed study. In
the study I target mainly on use of synthetic materials. I select about 15 houses for
survey. The study was conducted on a sample taken from 15 houses .The finally
concluded that the over use of synthetic material lots of environment hazards.

DISCUSSION

The major findings have been interpreted and use to evolve some findings
.Environmental affects the production of synthetic organic chemicals as raw material for
synthetic fibers, pesticides, detergents, plastics and synthetic rubber has increased
greatly. Since chlorine is frequently used in these process, its production has increased
sharply as well as requiring in turn greater production of mercy in surface water, however
has resulted in high concentrations of mercy in fish and mercy poisoning of people who
eat a steady diet of such fish.
CONCLUSION

Synthetic plastics are a more economically feasible choice than ones an interested
availability of biodegradable plastics will allow many consumers to choose them on the
basis of their environmentally responsible disposal. Synthetic products also require high
energy for their production and creation of this energy further contributions to
environmental pressure.
