The eye-catching quadricycle, Renault Twizy is a compact electric vehicle, with zero-emissions in use;
it seats up to two people and is unlike anything else on the road today. Twizy is powered by a 17hp
electric motor, with a smooth one-speed automatic transmission and a light and compact lithium-ion
battery pack.
There are three versions of Twizy, the first of which are the two seated Twizy Expression and Twizy
Dynamique (with gloss alloy wheels and cool two-toned colour collections). Arguably the worlds coolest
commercial vehicle was unveiled in 2013 with the appearance of the single-seat Twizy Cargo. Swapping
the rear seat to free up space for a 180-litre, 75kg boot, creates a vehicle perfect for both personal and
business use.
With a few simple, daring ideas and a decade of research into cleaner energy, Twizy brings sense to
better city living and more fun than youd ever imagine.
Twizy cargo

Convenient storage
If its space youre looking for, then the new Twizy Cargo has a convenient storage area, replacing the
second seat. With a volume of 180L and a max payload of 75kgs, Twizy Cargo is perfect for deliveries
and trips with carry-on luggage. No fuss, no hassle, just the room you need with no compromises on
driver experience.

In the summer of 2014 the versatility of the Twizy concept was demonstrated with the launch of the
Twizy Cargo, based upon the entry-level Expression model. Here, the rear seat has been removed to
create a 180-litre storage space capable of carrying a payload of 75kg ideal for last-mile deliveries
from depots or railway stations, and equally suitable for local food delivery companies or trades people
who need to carry tools.
The innovative nature of Twizy also makes the Cargo an ideal advertising medium for such businesses.
It is bound to get noticed. And because the Cargo is classed as a car-derived van by HM Revenue and
Customs, the VAT is recoverable.

* The Renault Twizy range has been measured and certified to 56 miles by UTAC (Union Technique de lAutomobile du Motocycle et du Cycle) on the ECE-15 cycle. Exactly as with petrol and diesel cars, when
driven under real conditions, this range will vary according to: speed, driving style, the terrain of the road, the use of electric accessories. Most of these factors can be influenced directly by the driver so as to help
maximise the range of the Renault Twizy. For example, the range will be around 43 miles using eco driving principles and 31 miles when driven under severe conditions.

No room for jealousy aboard the Twizy: two people, one set of welcoming and adaptable comforts. Some like it fully open,
others have a little cocoon in mind. This is why Twizy offers optional scissor doors and covers dividing driver and passenger.
For a flood of natural light and an unrestricted panoramic view, the clear sky roof is an optional extra, too. Also available is a
highly practical accessory: the hands free Bluetooth* kit lets you stay connected. Twizy, a truly outstanding re-definition
of openness.

Twizy storage

Make your move and live it up with Twizys 40 litres of stowage. Twin glove boxes on the dashboard hold much more than
gloves: like drinks cans, sunglasses, and the rest. Storage nets safely hold small items. And for the weekly shop, fix a 50-litre
(optional) bag to the passenger seat with secure fasteners.

Twizy technology

Charging the batteries, couldnt be simpler. Open the front flap, pull out the cable, and plug into any 230V socket. After about
three and a half hours, youre good for a real-world range of 43 miles, depending on driving conditions, your driving style and
the landscape. Enough to cope with anything, especially since the automatic gearbox helps electric economy. As with the
entire Z.E. range, on the dashboard you will see remaining battery life information, so youll always know where you stand.

Twizy safety

Twizy is gifted when it comes to looking after you. Its Renaultsport-developed tubular frame protects you from impacts, and
four disc brakes mean true active safety. Combined with an amazing turning circle, Twizy is not only a fun vehicle to drive but
a really responsive one too. For passive safety, four-point seatbelts and a drivers airbag have never before been seen on a
vehicle thats so agile and easy to handle.
