    I am writing to apply for the position of Unilever Internship Program (ULIP) - Supply Chain (Job
    number 16000K0X) advertised on Unilever Career webpage. I am currently undertaking my
    fourth year at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar studying Mechanical
    Engineering (B.Tech.) and looking for a placement starting from May 2017.My courses in
    Operations Research, Supply Chain Management and Computational Intelligence (Secured A
    Grade in all the three courses) have prepared me well to make a significant contribution to the
    job.

    I would like to apply to Unilever as it is a major employer worldwide, and its investment in
    multiple sectors has proven to be a great success. It gives me a fantastic opportunity to learn
    from experienced employees. It is also the worlds leading producer of FMC Goods; hence it
    understands the external impact of business activities and decisions on customers and
    investors. Being a result-oriented and passionate engineer; I aim to be a productive candidate
    primarily focused on the supply chain domain.
    My Bachelor thesis is also focused on Barriers for Reverse logistics of E-commerce companies
    (Using AHP Model).
    Motivated to work and learn from other Engineers I am willing to provide technical support to
    production teams and solve production issues. I am also ready to maintain quality and
    understand detailed customer product drawing and willing to take up all other responsibilities.
    Working as an Intern for last three months during summer in AIRBUS Bremen I have developed
    leadership qualities and managed to create a productive work environment in order for my
    team to meet its objectives. I am also able to work under pressure with excellent time
    management skills. Moreover, I enjoy working within a team environment, completing assigned
    tasks and collaborating with senior managers.
