    CE QUIZ BEE

    Rules and Regulations


    1. Each participating group should be composed of 3 members from 2 nd year- 5th
    year civil engineering students only. Members of each team must belong to
    different year levels.
    2. Topics for quiz bee cover the 2nd year 5th year subjects.
    3. Questions to be given are classified into- easy, average, and difficult. Clincher
    will be added in case of breaking the tie.
    4. Each participating group should pay the amount of P100.00 for registration
    fee.
    5. Each member should provide their own calculator and writing materials for
    solving purposes.
    6. Only QUIZ MASTER is allowed to read the questions twice for each category.
    7. Answer that will be raised by the group should be written on slate board that
    will be provided by the committee.
    8. Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
    9. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.
    10.The top 3 team who got many points will be considered winners.
    11.Champion, Second and Third Runner Up for the quiz bee will receive a special
    prize from Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Romblon State
    University Student Chapter.
    Round 1: EASY
    There will be 10 questions given by the quiz master. Each question will be
    equivalent 1 point only.
    Team discussion is allowed.
    Multiple choice is the type of question in this round
    Round 2: AVERAGE
    There will be 5 questions given by the quiz master. Each question will be
    equivalent 3 points only.
    Team discussion is allowed.
    Multiple choice is the type of question in this round
    Round 3 DIFFICULT
    There will be 3 questions given by the quiz master. Each question will be
    equivalent 5 points only.
    Team discussion is allowed.
    Solving problems are type of questions in this round. There will be no choices
    in this round. Contestants must encircle their final answer.
