Miss Billies Kids Kampus Teacher/Child Care Provider
2011 2016 (Full-time summer employment, part-time during school)
Taught full-day care for twelve-fourteen children each day during the summer (ages
infant through 8 years). Currently working with 3-4 year olds. Supervised and taught
my class during activity time, mealtime, naptime and on various field trips/outside
activities. Infant care; diaper and hygienic care, bottle and soft food, naptime, and
playtime.
Little Vikings Daycare Center Portland, Oregon
January- June 2016
Worked as a teacher assistant in both infant and child care. Job included basic
teaching skills, playing, craft making meal time, bottle feeding, and outside
exploration around city campus where daycare was located.

individual families, many of whom I met through my work at Kids Kampus. I have
cared for children of all ages (infant through 12 years old.)

Completed 20 service learning hours observing and assisting a fifth grade classroom
at a local Title 1 school. Part of coursework for my completing my major of
Elementary Education.
VOLUNTEER/COMMUNITY SERVICE
Youthlinc Cambodia - International Service Volunteer
June July, 2014
Served as a community service volunteer in Pursat, Cambodia. I was a member of
the education team, where I spent three weeks building a pre-school, teaching
English skills and mentoring students and families. The experience to immerse
myself in a new culture and connect with the children and families there is something
I will never forget.

Served as peer mentor and tutor for refugee children and teens living in the urban
Salt Lake City area. I had the opportunity develop team-building activities and to help
youth from all over the world adjust to life and school in the United States.

at East High School, The Road Home Homeless Shelter, Red Devils Autism

2012-2015
I have participated as a volunteer in various local organizations during high school.
Each spring, my competitive league soccer team organized a soccer clinic to give
kids with autism the chance to play soccer. I volunteer for our local Head Start family
living center where I worked in the daycare, and during my senior year of high school,
I have participated in the Peer Tutor program, where I work with disabled youth in
mentoring and tutoring activities.

I was accepted into the HPA program as a freshman in high school, which allows
students to take specialty courses such as medical anatomy, medical terminology and
CNA certification during High School.

I took a class for a year in order to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, this
certification gives me the opportunity to work mainly in hospitals and nursing homes
providing basic medical care along with hygienic needs.
