TestOverview
TheDynamicConePenetrationTestprovidesameasureofamaterialsinsituresistancetopenetration.Thetestisperformed

Cost
ThecostofpurchasingormanufacturingaDCPtestapparatusisrelativelylow.Currently,pricesvaryfrom$1,600to$2,200

DependingontheDCPapparatusthetestcanbeconductedefficientlywithaslittleas1to2people.Again,dependentupon
thetestapparatus,depthoftesting,andtheconditionofthesubgrade,thetestrequires5to10minutestocomplete.
