Numerous factors have to be taken into consideration

to ensure that a high level of paving quality is achieved
in road construction. There can be no doubt that an
uninterrupted and non-contacting supply of mix to the
paver is crucial to preventing any downtimes in the paving
process. A feeder is thus essential to the economical
achievement of high-quality results, especially on

large-scale job sites. The ultra-modern MT 3000-2 Offset

can do a great deal more than previous feeders. The
pivoting conveyor opens up a wide range of applications
that greatly improve machine utilization. And the
innovative material transfer system has a top conveying
capacity of 1,200 tonnes/h.
This allows a 25t mix lorry to be emptied in 60 seconds flat.

The MT 3000-2 is a highly advanced feeder from the new
VGELE PowerFeeder generation. It is characterized by an
innovative machine concept with economical consumption
and compact dimensions.

The new MT 3000-2 Offset is a member of the innovative and
brand new PowerFeeder generation from VGELE.
When developing the PowerFeeder generation, a special focus
was placed on high-performance and precise handling of
different mixes for different applications. Other materials can
thus also be conveyed in addition to asphalt, such as topsoil,
gravel, water-bound base course mixes or recycled materials.
Thanks to its pivoting conveyor, the MT 3000-2 Offset opens
up a whole range of extremely interesting applications
to contractors and allows the machine to be used highly
economically.
The cutting-edge technology, high reliability and maximum
user-friendliness are the hallmarks of the new PowerFeeder
MT 3000-2 Offset from VGELE and it is these virtues which
add up to make it the perfect partner for every professional
road construction company.

ErgoPlus Operating System
The "Automatic Conveying" function activates all

conveying systems with inter-coordinated speeds
at the push of a button.
Hardtop made of glass fibre reinforced polymer

material with wide sunshades and windscreen.
In principle, the MT 3000-2 Offset can be operated

by one person. Depending on the task in hand,
however, it is always possible for a second operator
to control the pivoting conveyor from the second
seat while the machine operator concentrates on
the forward motion of the feeder and the mix
transfer process.
Operation of the pivoting conveyor via high-precision

joystick.
ErgoPlus allows perfect machine operation

with maximum visibility. The operators' seats
are adjustable.
Direct access to all feeder-related functions by

push-buttons.
Material Conveying Concept
Proportionally controlled worm conveyors with large

worm blades (400mm) for homogeneous conveyance
of mix, without residues.
The pivoting conveyor can be inclined by 23.
The trough shape (30) of the conveyor belt provides

for a clean flow of mix during transfer, with no spills.
Conveyor can be pivoted through +/- 55.

The maximum distance from the outer edge of the
feeder to the discharge point of the conveyor is 3.5m.
The belt of the conveyor is extremely robust and

long-lasting as it is an industrially manufactured
endless belt.
For perfect material management, a newly developed

diesel heating system provides for a good belt
temperature to prevent mix sticking to the conveyor
belt.

1,200 tonnes of mix per hour.
Guidance of the conveyor belt via tensioning cylinders

guarantees a correctly centred alignment of the belt.
A smart automatic system adjusts the belt tension as

In large-scale road construction projects such as motorway

construction or rehabilitation, non-stop supply of the paver with
mix and continuous paving are crucial. For only then can daily
laydown rates of 4,000t and more be achieved. If the interval
for changing the lorries that supply the feeder with mix is too
long, a bottleneck ensues, reducing the actually achievable
laydown rate and impeding job-site logistics. This is why VGELE
have designed the new PowerFeeder generation for maximum
performance.
Thanks to the concept of the PowerFeeder MT 3000-2 Offset,
it is possible to empty even large mix lorries in one go.
The process of emptying a lorry containing 25t of mix unfolds
in a breathtaking 60 seconds. The new VGELE PowerFeeder
thus speeds up job-site logistics considerably, as the lorry
drivers have more time for the process-critical manuvring.

Extremely Powerful in New Fields of Application
The PowerFeeder MT 3000-2 Offset comes with a host of new

innovations. In particular, the pivoting conveyor is a major
advantage as this allows the feeder to be used in a wide range
of new applications.
The newly developed conveyor can be pivoted to the left
or right by 55 and inclined by 23. These two features yield
a host of advantages. They include feeding pavers from the
side, backfilling trenches or filling the cavities in safety barriers
during motorway construction, as well as reconstruction
measures on hard shoulders. What's more, working with the
PowerFeeder MT 3000-2 Offset is not confined to bituminous
mixes alone. The feeder concept has been designed so that
other materials can be conveyed in addition to asphalt, such
as topsoil, gravel, water-bound base course mixes or recycled
materials.

possibility for a feed lorry to manuvre.

can be precisely controlled, it is ideal for backfilling all
