Statue of Liberty
This famous icon of freedom and of the United States is a copper
statue on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It was built by French
architecture Gustave Eiffel, the same person who built the Paris
symbol Eiffel Tower. It was dedicated on in 1886 as a gift to the
United States from the people of France. It is a robed female figure
representing Libertas, the Roman goddess, who bears a torch and a
tablet upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration
of Independence, July 4, 1776. A broken chain lies at her feet.
Times Square
This globally famous square in Midtown Manhattan, New York City is
formed by the intersection of Seventh Avenue, 42nd Street, and
Broadway. Featuring bright billboards and advertisements and
being the hub of the Broadway Theater District, it is one of the
world's busiest pedestrian intersections. It is also known as the
Crossroads of the World. Since 1907, it has become the symbolic
place where millions of visitors appreciate the annual Ball Drop one
every New Years Eve.
Brooklyn Bridge
Built in 1883, it was the first steel-wire suspension bridge
constructed in the world. Spanning 1,595.5 feet (486.3m) across the
East River, it connects Manhatten and Brooklyn. Upon its completion,
it was considered as the eighth wonder of the world following the
Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Since its opening, it has
become an icon of New York City and one of the best places to
appreciate the scenic skyline of New York skyscrapers.
Wall Street
This is a 0.7-mile-long narrow street running eight blocks in the
Financial District of lower Manhattan. Over time, the term has
become a symbol for the financial markets of the United States as a
whole. Anchored by Wall Street, New York City has been called the
leading financial center of the world. It is home to the world's two
largest stock exchanges by total market capitalization, the New York
Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. The Charging Bull, sometimes called
the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture
located in Bowling Green Park and is also a symbol for Wall Street.
Empire State Building
This 102-story skyscraper is located in Midtown Manhattan. As an
American cultural icon and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern
World, it stood as the world's tallest building from 1931 to 1970 and
is now fifth-tallest building in the United States. Visitors are able to
see up to five states from observation decks on the 86th and 102nd
floor. A race up the stairs to the 86th floor is held annually since
1978, and participants have to climb a total of 1,576 steps. The
Empire State Building has also become a popular place for
celebrations of wedding and Valentines day since 1994.
Central Park
It is an urban park in central Manhattan. Featuring woods, lakes,
grassland, tennis courts, art galleries and many more, it is not only
the entertainment location for New Yorkers but also a famous scenic
spot for worldwide visitors.
Brodaway
Broadway is actually the name of a boulevard running north to south
through Manhattan. Up to 40 professional theaters with 500 or more
seats are located along the Broadway. Being a birthplace of
American dramas and musicals, Broadway has thus become a
synonym for dramas and musicals of the best in the world.

driver by tipping. After all - it's the
right thing to do.
