The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization plays a critical role as trusted business partner to the
business units, supporting all analysis, reporting and planning needs of the business. We produce budgets, short
and long range forecasts; create and analyze business metrics and identify cost savings opportunities; deliver
economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the
business going forward.
The FP&A India team has started in early 2013, we have an extension of team model structure which requires
teams to work in close collaboration with the Businesses/COO teams and the FP&A colleagues in other locations.
The teams in FP&A are set up to support the businesses in planning, forecasting, Business reporting, Project
support and few regulatory reporting. We have 5 main sub-teams within FP&A team which are globally aligned
and structured similarly.
Key Responsibilities:
The Regional FP&A team provides financial analysis and reporting to the Head and COO of the regions. The team
looks cross functionally at financial performance throughout the regions including deeper analysis into individual
businesses / countries. The team also plays a key role in linking FP&A with other areas of finance including
Accounting, Tax and Regulatory Reporting.
The role reports directly in to the VP (team lead) of India Regional FP&A, and requires close collaboration with the
Businesses/COO teams and the FP&A colleagues in other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
The Regional FP&A team provides financial analysis and reporting to the Head and COO of the regions. The team
looks cross functionally at financial performance throughout the regions including deeper analysis into individual
businesses / countries. The team also plays a key role in linking FP&A with other areas of finance including
Accounting, Tax and Regulatory Reporting.

The role reports directly in to the VP (team lead) of India Regional FP&A, and requires close collaboration with the
Businesses/COO teams and the FP&A colleagues in other locations.
Key responsibilities include:

Develop region and country specific, cross functional analysis and reporting
Analyze trends in the business each month and produce detailed reports for senior management
highlighting key changes
Understand key revenue and expense drivers and work with business management to optimize
productivity
Liaise with counterparts in the Client Businesses and Investments teams to identify and support trends in
AUM, flows, revenues, client wins / losses, and market outlook / performance
Proactively look for opportunities to optimize the current reporting and develop new approaches to assess
the health of the business
Responsible for running management reports, including monthly business and financial results to
management and businesses, co-working with business finance colleagues globally
Initiating & supporting Business Finance projects & process improvements

Skills/Qualifications:

Commerce graduate; CA, CFA level 1, MBA or equivalent qualification preferred


Strong skill and experience in data management
Proficiency in MS Excel
Demonstrated ability to communicate, both locally and across geographies
Ability to build relationship with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a team environment (not only FP&A team but also across Finance including controllers
team, GFO, Tax and Finance as a whole)
Broad knowledge of the asset management industry and investment management
Good communication and engagement skills at all levels
Analytical ability
