II. Reason for referral
Ms. Boneo, a third year college student would like to know if she is
mentally sound to continue her pursuit for a career in the Psychology field
after she finishes her degree in college. My client wants to determine if she
has any mental imbalance and would also want to know her IQ as well as her
emotional stability.

A.Purdue Non-language Test

Based on the result of the test, Ms. Boneo seems to have High IQ.
She could perform excellently with her academic requirements and could
easily learn the things taught in school. She could perhaps be able to easily
cope up with the lessons in her school and could be to accomplish school
works with ample efforts exerted.
B. Filipino Intelligence Test (FIT)
According to the result of her test, she has an IQ which is considered
SUPERIOR. With this, she could very excellent in academic per se and be able
to perform well with the activities given to her. She could perhaps be able to
learn new things smoothly and could manage scholastic responsibilities
easily. Furthermore, she could do best with vocabulary and verbal ability.
C. Bar-On
Ms. Boneo appears to have excellent understanding of herself, this is
because of the assumption that she could easily recognize and understand
her own feelings. She seems to be a kind of person who could express
herself very well and could be very opinionated at times. She perchance to
have good communication skills with other people and could view them in a
very fair and realistic way. She may be warm and loving towards other
people and could work with them excellently.
My client conceivably experience times of agitation and emotional
outburst. She possibly handles stress in her own possible way and
sometimes fails to address them well. She may sometimes make decisions
impulsively and do things out of emotional weariness. She is somehow
impatient when facing stressful moments and tries to cope up through
absences and tend to just escape them. Her adaptability to change may not
be smooth sailing for she could sometimes be traditional.

Ms. Boneo seems to be a person who set realistic goals and do her best
to achieve them accordingly. In addition to this, she loves to work with
people with similar aspirations and people who are well-motivated. My
clients emotional stability seems well-developed; it is because she appears
to be independent and tends to refrain from seeking so much help from
others.

My client seems to be a kind of person who usually breaks the rules
and go against the current of the norms. She probably considers laws and
rules as limitations and tends to bend them. She happens to be a
sentimental woman who appreciates the beauty of simple things around her.
She would probably prefer reading a novel and writing poems instead of
doing tasks that involve too much physical movements.
She seems to be self-reliant and refrain from asking any help from
others. She is open to change and considers new discoveries as fascinating
things to be busied herself into. Because of this, she appears to be flexible
with the things that she do and could easily adopt to what is necessary.
She appears to be well-driven and is constantly experience high levels
of emotions.
E. Draw a Person
My client seems to be a stubborn and very decisive woman. She
appears to be a person who values dominance over other people and tends
to strive for control. She constantly pursues higher intellectual capacity and
usually challenges herself.
She appears to have smooth-sail expression of herself and could
address her opinions easily without much hesitation. She seems to strive for
autonomy and self-approval to be easily accepted by others. She perhaps
wants social glamour and achieves it through demanding for attention and

approval within her social world. She seems to be a person who loves to be
apprised because of her qualities and tends to be very confident of herself.
She happens to have hostility towards the world and her life. She
compensates her imperfections through emphasizing her intellect and gain
control over people.
F. Hand Test
My client seems to do excellently with balancing her interpersonal
relationship with others and her environmental response. According to the
results of this test, the ratio of her interpersonal relationship with her
environmental response is 10:10 which is considerably healthy.
Ms. Boneo appears to value communication and dialogue and use them
to achieve common goals with the people she is associated with. She also
seems to focus on her active responses to which we could conclude that it
involves constructive accomplishments.
Moreover, she seems to show willingness to exert oneself in order to
attain important goals, along with the subjective feelings of desire which
accompanies such aspirations.
G. Sacks Sentence Completion Test
Ms. Boneo appears to have hostility towards family unit. Based on the
result of the test taken, she seems to have loathing with her father. She sees
her mothers imperfections but she still exerts efforts to understand her. She
perhaps has ambivalent feelings and perception towards men and women;
the reason for this seems connected with her reservation with heterosexual
relationship.
My client seems to be very comfortable with her environment at school
and somehow has peaceful and advantageous relationship with her
classmates and superiors. She conceivably possesses guilty feelings with the
mistakes she has done in the past and somehow has fears to control trouble.
She appears to be confident with her abilities to fulfill each aspiration that
she wants to achieve.

She has positive attitude towards her future and the fulfillment of her
goals. She happens to have optimistic view of what will eventually happen
and is more than willing to seek for happiness.

V. Conclusion
Based on the results of the battery of exams taken by Ms. Boneo, we
could conclude that she seems to have above average level of intelligence.
This implies an excellent understanding of academic responsibilities and a
high level of intellectuality.
She appears to understand herself excellently and could easily
recognize the emotions she feels. She is a very adaptive and flexible woman
in which she could easily adjust accordingly to what is expected. She could
easily express herself in a very well manner and appears to be confident
whenever she presents herself.
She has a good interpersonal relationship and could easily relate to the
people around her. She possesses hostility towards her family especially her
father with which she considers insufficient.
She values her social image and tends to over emphasize her positive
attitudes to compensate to her existing imperfections. She could sometimes
be self-reliant and do things on her own.
VI. Recommendation
Ms. Boneo plans to pursue a profession in Psychology which requires
excellent interpersonal relationship. With this, we could say that she could fit
in a position in the said field. Based on the results of the set of examinations
taken, she possesses an ability to understand other people which qualify her
to fulfill such aspiration.

I highly recommend that Ms. Boneo should engage herself to

recreational activities that could help her handle stress well. She should do
activities to which she could release her emotions whenever she experiences
outburst. It is also best that she avoid things that could cause her stress and
such.
Overall, Ms. Lorena Boneo is a mentally sound woman who is qualified
to fulfill the reason for the referral and the mere administration of this
battery of examinations.

Below average
Above the threshold for normal independent functioning. Can perform
explicit routinized hands-on tasks without supervision as long as
there are no moments of choice and it is always clear what has to be
done. Assembler, food service.
This is also the I.Q. range most associated with violence. Most violent
crime is committed by males from this range. This does not imply
that all males in this range are violent, nor that all violent males are
in this range. But when the modal I.Q. of a group is in this range, one
may expect trouble with with many male members of that group.
When the modal I.Q. of a society or population is raised upward of
this range, violence decreases as fewer males fall in this range then,
given the shape of an even remotely normal distribution. When the
modal I.Q. of a society is below this range to begin with though,
raising it may increase violence. The causal mechanism behind the
(statistical) relation between crime and below-average I.Q. is likely
that lower I.Q. levels inherently tend to go with having less impulse

control, being less able to delay gratification, being less able to

comprehend moral principles like the Golden Rule, and being
overstrained by the cognitive demands of society.
And, this is the range into which men of average or just above
average intelligence sink when under the influence of alcohol; alcohol
reduces I.Q. by up to about 25 points while drunk (own data), which
explains why many drunk men are violent and aggressive (own
hypothesis).
