During my first year teaching, I was asked to be on the WMS School Level Leadership team. Additionally, I
was asked to gain my gifted certification. I have taught regular and special education students. I have led
single-sex and co-educational classrooms. I regularly manage many extracurricular activities and other

intern at Silverdale specializing in Middle School programs, including one-on-one mentoring, orchestrating
student trips/activities, and leading small-group discussions/large-group teaching sessions.

From 2005-06, I worked as the Mission Site Coordinator responsible for organizing community service
projects in several cities throughout the nation in conjunction with Student Life summer camps. In 2007, I
was promoted to Missions Director, making me fully responsible for community service planning for each
camp involving up to 600 students and adults, while managing four Mission Site Coordinators.
