Dr. Seuss implied that the Waiting Place is not a good place to be. You should go
forward in your life and continue to work toward your goals and not wait.
Being alone is not always bad. We sometimes get discouraged and frightened
when we feel alone.
The main idea of this book is that we need to be aware that we are in charge of
the decisions we make and must make good decisions and choices for our lives.
Dr. Seuss meant that we should balance our lives with hard work and not forget to
play and enjoy life.
We all get into slumps sometimes and have to work through the slumps to reach
our goals
