This exercise is used to help students memorize the possessive adjectives.


This will also help those who have difficulty in understanding them.

1. Cut each slip and give one card to each student. They cant show the card
to the other classmates.
2. Before you start, explain the activity and give an example how to do the
exercise:
- If you have a MY card, point to one student and look at this student, so
he/she can say the correct pronoun.

- If you have a YOUR(singular) card,
card point to yourself and look at all the
students so they say the correct pronoun.

- If you have a HIS card, point to a student who is a man, and look at the
other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a HER card, point to a student who is a woman, and look at
the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have an ITS card, point to anything which is an object, and look
at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have an OUR card, point to all students, including you, and look
at them so they say the correct pronoun.

- (second option) If you have an OUR card, point to some students, and
look at them so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a YOUR(plural) card,
card point to one student, including you,
and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a THEIR card, point to more than two students and look at
the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
