LEADING
EDUCATION FOR
TOMORROWS
TEACHERS
Early childhood care and education (ECCE) in Malaysia
is divided into two age groups, which is 0-4 years and
4-6 years old. The Malaysian government places a strong
emphasis on quality ECCE and has formulated the National
Policy for Early Childhood Education. Under this policy,
programmes have been introduced to meet the diverse
needs of the crucial early years of birth to six years old.
These programmes provide a solid foundation for healthy
and holistic growth, offering young children experiences
that develop mastery of basic skills and positive attitudes,
not just for primary school but for life. The governments
involvement in ECCE is evident from its numerous initiatives
to make early childhood programmes more accessible.
SEGi is the trusted provider of ECCE programmes,
supplying the nation with thousands of highly qualified
ECCE practitioners since 1999. In addition, the government
of Malaysia has appointed SEGi as the Champion of Entry
Point Project (EPP) 2, Education National Key Economic
Areas (NKEA) to promote and train caliber practitioners.

HAVE YOU HEARD?

We are THE

PIONEER IN
ECCE TRAINING, offering ECCE

programmes since 1999.

Besides gaining knowledge in the field of

Psychology, I gained valuable experiences outside of
academic pursuit. Through the tasks and assignments
given, and the interactions with people during my
involvement in college events, I learnt the importance
of teamwork and communication in achieving team
goals and targets.
