The key takeaways are that administrative law governs administrative agencies and the relationships between the three branches of government. It also discusses the powers and functions of agencies, as well as methods of control and judicial review.

The three main types of administrative agency powers discussed are enforcement/executive functions, legislative functions like rule-making, and adjudicative functions like holding hearings.

Two methods of congressional oversight over administrative agencies are the degree and scope to which Congress can control agencies, and emerging trends in congressional oversight.
